We are on vacation, my daughters are at home, my wife, who is from Carúpano, a town about 120 km from Cumana, has her mother and brother living there. Although my wife's relationship with her mother is quite close, we hadn't been to visit her so far this year, occupations always play against strengthening family ties.

Estamos de vacaciones mis hijas están en casa mi esposa que es de Carúpano una población que está a unos 120 km de Cumana tiene a su madre y a su hermano residiendo ahí. Aunque la relación de mi esposa con su madre es bastante estrecha nosotros no habíamos ido a visitarla en todo lo que va de año, siempre las ocupaciones juegan en contra de estrechar los lazos familiares.
My wife's father passed away 7 months ago and we were waiting for the tombstone that we ordered to take it to him. Once ready we went to Carúpano. To get there we always drive along trunk line 09 which borders the majestic Gulf of Cariaco, my daughter Sarays @sarayscristina was my co-pilot and she was quite attentive to the maneuvers because she has the fever to drive a million, my other daughter Sofía @sofiaelizoleth28 he had gone ahead of us and was already in Carúpano and my wife was in the back seat.
El papá de mi esposa tiene 7 meses que falleció y estábamos esperando la lápida que mandamos hacer para llevársela. Una vez lista nos fuimos para Carúpano. Para llegar hasta allá siempre vamos manejando por la troncal 09 la cual va bordeando el majestuosos Golfo de Cariaco, mi hija Sarays @sarayscristina era mi copiloto y estaba bastante atenta de las maniobras, pues tiene la fiebre de manejar a millón, mi otra hija Sofía @sofiaelizoleth28 se nos había adelantado y ya estaba en Carúpano y en el asiento de atrás iba mi esposa.

After about 40 minutes we passed through the picturesque town of San Antonio del Golfo, capital of the Mejías municipality. In San Antonio del Golfo, the road passes very close to the sea, so much so that when there is a breeze, the waves wash over the road.
En los viajes siempre aprovecho para conversar de temas familiares diversos, de algún proyecto que tenga en mente y requiero escuchar la opinión de la familia, en fin siempre me ha parecido un buen momento para conversar eso hace ameno el viaje. Como la cherokee anda con problemas en la caja de velocidad teníamos que ir máximo a 60 km por hora después de unos 40 minutos pasamos por la pintoresca población de San Antonio del Golfo, capital de municipio Mejías. En San Antonio del Golfo, la carretera pasa muy cerca del mar cuando hay brisa las olas bañan la vía.

Desde San Antonio en lo adelante la carretera está terrible, muchos muros en la vía o como le decimo aquí en Venezuela policías acostados y bastante huecos, mi hija iba atenta con las maniobras que yo hacia con la caja de velocidad, la veía y me precia que tuviera 10 años cuando bajaba la velocidad con la caja de cambio ponía los ojos grandísimos como si quisiera grabarse con su mirada aquella pequeña maniobra, en el camino hasta Cariaco pasamos por la población de la peña tenia demasiado calor me detuve un rato y aproveche de tomar una foto a su linda playita lástima que no hay camino seguro para llegar hasta ella.
We continued our journey and arrived under a flood of water at the town of Cariaco Capital of the Ribero Municipality, we were already quite close, just 50 minutes from Carúpano, suddenly the truck lost power so I pulled over and turned it off. It was raining quite a lot, my wife told me -what are we going to do?- I replied, let's wait, it could be the gasoline pump that is hot, so we stayed around 40 minutes in front of the Cariaco terminal. I told the good of God and the car started and we continued on our way to Carúpano. Despite the small mishaps with the car, the trip was pleasant. Almost three hours later we had arrived at the house of the mother-in-law who was very excited to have her eldest daughter's family in her house.
Seguimos nuestro recorrido y llegamos bajo un palo de agua a la población de Cariaco Capital del Municipio Ribero ya estábamos bastante cerca a escasos 50 minutos de Carúpano de repente la camioneta perdió fuerza así que me orille y la apague. Llovía bastante, mi esposa me dice ¿qué hacemos? le respondí: vamos a esperar puede ser la bomba de gasolina que este caliente, así que nos quedamos detenidos alrededor de 40 minutos aproximadamente frente al terminal de Cariaco. Le dije a la buena de Dios y el carro encendió y seguimos nuestro camino hacia Carúpano. A pesar de los pequeños percances con el carro el Viaje fue placentero. Casi tres horas después habíamos llegado a casa de la suegra la cual estaba muy emocionada por tener la familia de su hija mayor en su casa.
At the mother-in-law's house, in addition to my daughter Sofía, there were also my nephews who were more than 2 years old and I did not see them because of all that issue of the pandemic, work, lack of gasoline and a long etc etc. The next day we dressed in appropriate clothes to go to the cemetery to place the tombstone for my late father-in-law. So the 7 of us got on the kamio as best we could and went to the holy field to visit our father-in-law.
En casa de la suegra además de mi hija Sofía también estaban mis sobrinos los cuales tenía más de 2 años que no los veía por todo aquel asunto de la pandemia, el trabajo, la falta de gasolina y un largo etc etc. Al otro día nos vestimos con ropas apropiadas para ir al cementerio a colocar la lápida a mi difunto suegro. Asi que nos montamos en la kamio los 7 como pudimos y nos marchamos al campo santo a visitar al suegro.
After that we went to visit Aunt Yolanda who hadn't seen her for a long time and was identically happy, talkative, funny, how good it is to meet up with the family and get together even for a little while to talk a little and enjoy their company. Then we went to the Carupano perimeter to take some photos.
Luego de ahí fuimos a visitar a la tía Yolanda que de tiempo sin verla estaba idéntica alegre, habladora, chistosa, que bueno es reencontrarse con la familia y reunirse aunque sea un ratito a conversar un poco y disfrutar de sus compañías. Después fuimos a la permetral de Carupano hacer algunas fotos .
The day was beautiful, and playa boquete, that is what they call the beach that surrounds the perimeter, was spectacular, and tired we left. Tomorrow we would go to the beach, but I will tell you about that in the continuation of this post.
Hermoso estaba el dia, y playa boquete asi llaman a la playa que crincunda la perimetral estaba espectacular ya cansados nos retiramos . Mañana iriamos a la playa, pero eso se los cuento en la continuacion de este post.

La familia es la base fundamental de la sociedad, una familia bien cohesionada con metas claras que honren los valores de convivencia humana redundara en sociedades sanas. Que opinan ustedes ¿será esto cierto?
Spending time with the family is the most precious gift one can have. Memories are forever, so this trip will be remembered for sure. I see you're not really engaging with others. It might help being more active as Hive is a social platform.
Thank you for your advice. We are in the same tune family trips are unforgettable, this is what allows me to get ahead when there are problems.
It is very essential for every one of us to have and spend time with our family. It is a stress-reliever indeed and it will surely make your bond and relationship stronger than ever.
