INTRODUCTION:
Each of us takes honor in our individuality and distinctive character and is different from the other in innumerable ways.The same is true of young children, which should go without saying. Every child is born with the abilities and talent sets that are specific to them and make them distinctive. They have a right to get the utmost love, care, and nurturing so that their potential can blossom. The idea that childhood is the time when children are sculpted and molded to "fit" into society and comply with societal norms and expectations, however, has been an underlying principle supporting child development for many years.
If a child does poorly academically, it does not necessarily follow that they are not exceptional. Children work at varying speeds, and while all fly, some can fly higher than others; each flies as well as they can. Each child is different, has a unique learning style and speed, and is not only capable of learning but also of succeeding. They stand out because of their unique qualities, talents, personalities, and opinions. When we take the time to consider the kids we know, we see how unique and amazing each one is.
May I show you a few of the many kids and young teens who possess such character and talent
• ARTISTIC
The outstanding artistic talent of one of the kids I know is in the identity of Steve Gamaru. Steve is just 6 years old and a first-grade learner at Marc Agape Christian Learning Center, Inc. What makes him stand out is that he has shown amazing skill for painting and drawing at a young age. With its detailed intricacies and vivid hues, his artwork is extremely captivating. In addition to having exceptional technical talents, he also has a distinctive creativity that allows him to bring his works to life. In addition to being inspirational, Steve's gift serves as a reminder of the value of encouraging and supporting children's unique talents and interests.
• SPORTY
Another youngster excels at larong pinoy sports called "kadang-kadang" . Jr. Garcia displays amazing balance, agility, strength, and coordination from the moment he steps foot on this kind of field. He engages in a lot of sports, like basketball, and has become a player on several sports teams. Thanks to his inherent sporting talent. But what he loved most was the kadang-kadang because it was so exciting.
A quick advertisement: Kadang-Kadang saw its debut in 1969 in Cebu, also referred to as Tiyakad in Tagalog. A common game performed in laro ng lahi, or leisure time, in the Philippines. This is an outdoor game, which also translates to "simple play," is played while standing on a bamboo stilt. Two bamboo poles of equal length and a stepladder large enough to accommodate the player's feet are required to play the kadang-kadang. Ten feet from the ground, the bamboo rises. However, in the modern era, Filipinos raised the height of the bamboos.
Jr., despite his talent, maintains his humility and constantly encourages and supports his teams. His ability to strike a balance between individual success and teamwork is evidence of his admirable character and distinguishes him from his colleagues.
• GOLDEN HEART
On the other hand, another character whom I admired a lot is Christian Dave Sungahid, or "Kuyabeep," as his friends call him. He approaches every circumstance from a fresh angle. He has a keen sense of empathy and a thorough comprehension of other people's feelings. Kuyabeep is a good friend, has a kind and super generous heart, and is a confidant since he has the capacity to deeply understand and connect with people. He naturally has the capacity to listen and provide advice without passing judgment, which enables him to foster a secure and encouraging environment for others. All of us should be reminded to be more considerate and empathetic toward others around us in light of Kuyabeep's sensitive attitude.
• BORN SINGER SONG WRITER
Moreover, Bless is a splendidly born singer-songwriter who displays her brilliance at the age of 12. She started writing songs and, unbelievably, made a tune out of them. Also, she artistically creates such relaxing, life-affirming sounds with the use of her guitar. This kid is definitely amazing because she also has the ability to blend melodies and harmonies. Really, her music is soothing to the soul; you may find yourself nodding along to the beat instinctively as you enjoy it. Her musical knowledge of putting together the many components of a piece of music and her passion to fulfill it by crafting an original composition were influenced by her father (youtube channel jedumvlog). I do not know how that could possibly happen but such a wonder to behold!
REFLECTION:
Aside from Steve, Jr. Kuyabeep and Bless, there are many other kids that each possess a unique set of characteristics and talents. Some kids and young teens may excel in the classroom, grasping complex concepts easily and displaying an insatiable thirst for information. Others might be exceptionally talented musicians who can fervently and dexterously play a multitude of instruments. Some children or teens are so strong-willed and resilient that they defy all odds and serve as inspirations to others, but for some kids or teens, they might find them hard to endure.
For example, Bless (my daughter) is superb academically and musically, but she is matchless compared to Preach (my son) when it comes to household work and life career skills, because Preach or Chekoy, her younger brother, is truly dependable when it comes to errands at home and as a business help. Therefore, we can say that you cannot push either away. As parents or family, it is our duty to help each child learn both easy and hard ones, because both are special and have qualities significant in assorted suitable situations. Every child has a different history, set of abilities, and methods that can impact the world. They are empathetic, smart, and exceptional! That makes them a star!
