Captured Moment in Jagobiao Kid's Care Service.
Apparently, the Novel Corona Virus 2019 pandemic that recently wracked the globe had a profound impact on people from all spheres of life. I'm sure we were all greatly affected by that. Everything seemed impossible to be carried out, from the most menial tasks to the most essential activity, such as shopping at the market to going out on the street, customarily, as calls for work, school routine, and the like demanded, were all stringently impermissible except those few who were legible to do so, as they say, due to this illness that had spread around that time and was reportedly extremely dangerous. As a result, numerous businesses were dragged down to devastation. Even family members who lived close by could no longer see each other. Tsk! so sad 😔 Worst of all, this illness also claims many lives. Sadly, the pandemic has wide-ranging, detrimental repercussions.
Nonetheless, up until these days, there are also a lot of accounts in life that show how the pandemic has helped them succeed or have achieved victory in life. like a reunited family, as they gathered together under one roof. They were locked up at home and unable to leave it. Thus, strong family ties were regained. Others who had disagreements recognized the chance to forgive one another and moved on out of concern that this would be the end of the world. How about e-commerce, online businesses, and even the traditional ones like those essential-related industries? They showed up spectacularly. Home-based job opportunities were strikingly unfurled, and there was much more to mention as well.
Kid's homebased conference, with their parent's consent
Kids, me and mother Igling
Well, as for me, though it was the worst experience of my life, I am still grateful that this chapter taught me the most valuable lesson. Indeed the pandemic brought us an unkind season, yet it has paved the way for kid's Care Service to commence. It's seemingly a slight infraction, but surprisingly the barangay authorities allowed us to orchestrate it since thae pandemic was lifted already. However schooling was never materialized that time, so the children in our (sityo) village could congregate with us. On the otherhand went sleuthing to apprehend and arrest the gambling-cockfighting bunch. To cut to the chase, ever since that day, we have met once a week. My own kids and young children, who also happened to be our neighbors, were attending this conference, while mother, Igling, was busy at work making porridge to feed the kids afterwards.

Kids, enjoy eating with porridge (lugaw) as regular favorite snacks after the service. Sometimes noodles, rice and senorita brand sardines mixed with papaya fruit asked from a neighbor's garden, while chicken is just a very occasional choice😄
We have song or interpretative performances, game activities,(I regret that some actual scenes were not captured) a thanksgiving portion, instruction, and lessons about good manners and the avoidance of negative behavior. I occasionally combine teaching English classes with integrating knowledge from the secular world. Worship for the Lord follows that. Then, we're having so much fun devouring our porridge. Lastly, I'm most grateful that nobody got sick, though.
Fortunate we are, because some parents are thankful for this because, reportedly, their young children have surprisingly changed. Children can now be asked for an errand without hearing them muttering or complaining. Accordingly, their kids now treat them with more respect than before. With this episode, I have come to a reflection, and that is, one of the most significant lessons is that "real success comes from a life that has changed." We cannot qualify a thing, person, or event as successful if there is no remarkable change (for the better) that has ever transpired.
Despite being unpredictable, life can be presumptuous. In the sense that we can sometimes feel that we are on cloud nine and simultaneously anticipate the worst-case scenarios as we continue to journey on this earth, So, a catastrophe or a celebration could occur in life intermittently, depending on where you are constricted; nonetheless, both have a weighty purpose. Similarly, with the outbreak of the pandemic, yes, on the flaw side, the epidemic has caused tremendous financial upheavals and socio-economic drawbacks, but on the bright side, there have also been stunning breakthroughs and empowerment in life!☺️
Depending on how we handle them, many life trials can either bomb our lives into oblivion or miraculously build us. When positivity rules our thoughts, positive outcomes flow. Life may educate us sternly at first, but if we continue to trust the process while holding out hope, it will actually have the most desirable and admirably best conclusion in our lives—or even more than you had anticipated. Because, as the adage goes, "What you think is what you are.
There's a sunshine after a long dark night
Wherefore, make an effort to reject fear and unpleasant thoughts if they merely serve to harm and worsen your mood. However, freights or negativity have a good result because this will give us an idea of how to escape from evil, as long as they are not excessive. After all, life's experiences lead us to propel progress in our hope rather than magnifying our freight in this world. These will inspire us to endure life's struggles with effortful persistence, as this will greatly enhance the way we live our lives on this temporal assignment. So, let us make provisions to recoup our time, for we are clueless of our tomorrow, but if we live our lives within the realm of HOPE and TRUST, rest assured that we are capable of surmounting every encounter...with wings flying like an eagle.🤗
