Greetings friends of this beautiful community, for me like many people family and friends are the most important thing, that's why I always take a little of my time to spend it to share with my loved ones; I tell you that I have been a little away from my blog in the last two weeks, this is because I have been helping my wife and her family in my spare time in the restoration of their new business premises today I decided to share with you my moments of work in this new project.
Antes quiero compartir un poco de la historia de este gran sueño de esta gran familia que hoy están haciendo realidad; mi suegro tiene un negocio de marquetería y cristalería por mas de 40 años, aprendió el oficio desde muy pequeño con un viejo amigo de su familia, heredando esta gran profesión, trabajando incansablemente por su familia, así mismo este oficio lo siguió su hijo (mi cuñado), y otros miembros de la familia, quienes durante todo este tiempo han estado en esta escuela, mi esposa también trabaja en el negocio familiar como la Gerente del lugar, allí mismo tiene una pequeña oficina donde lleva la contabilidad de sus clientes privados. Desde el año 1973 mi suegro decide alquilar un local comercial, sitio que ocupan hasta el día de hoy, pero hace 3 semanas lograron comprar un local que se encuentra al lado, el mismo se encuentra en muy malas condiciones y es por ello que decidieron restaurarlo para poder mudarse a un lugar propio, algo de lo que me siento muy orgulloso porque mi esposa es muy unida a su hermano y a su papá, desde muy jóvenes ellos tienen varios proyectos en común que han ido cumpliendo, el sueño que les faltaba era poder tener un local propio donde pueda seguir funcionando la administración y ventas, ya que ellos poseen un galpón para guardar la mercancía y trabajar.

Since 1973 my father in law decided to rent a commercial place, a place they still occupy today, but 3 weeks ago they managed to buy a place next door, it is in very bad conditions and that is why they decided to restore it to be able to move to a place of their own, Something that I am very proud of because my wife is very close to her brother and her father, since they were very young they have several projects in common that they have been fulfilling, the dream they were missing was to have their own place where they can continue to operate the administration and sales, as they have a shed to store the merchandise and work.
Luego de cerrar la negociación mi esposa me dice que si les puedo ayudar, sin pensarlo le dije que si, y nos fuimos todos a trabajar, este local tenia cierto tiempo cerrado, al abrir nos encontramos con mucho sucio, escombros y maleza, lo primero que hicimos fue sacar y botar los escombro, cortar un árbol que estaba en la parte del patio, ya que este deterioro gran parte del techo, esta fue una de las tareas que mas disfrute porque hacia mucho que no tomaba un hacha para cortar un árbol, me subí y comencé a desbrazarlo, abajo estaban mis compadres halando con un mecate para evitar que el árbol cayera al techo, a medida que íbamos cortando se iba colocando en la camioneta para ir a botar.

En el segundo día de trabajo comenzamos a desarmar el cielo raso, y el techo, que estaba compuesto por una parte de acerolit y otra de asbesto, encontrando mucho polvo sobre el mismo, para eso cada uno cargaba su tapabocas, me sentí muy feliz en ver a mi esposa trabajar incansablemente con nosotros, se que este es un sueño que hace mucho querían materializar y le doy gracias a Dios por permitirme ayudarles en la realización del mismo, es una tarea muy ardua pero en tan solo 2 días pudimos desmontar todo el techo.
On the second day of work we began to dismantle the ceiling, and the roof, which was composed of a part of acerolit and other asbestos, finding a lot of dust on it, for that each one carried his mask, I was very happy to see my wife work tirelessly with us, I know this is a dream that long wanted to materialize and I thank God for allowing me to help them in the realization of it, it is a very arduous task but in just 2 days we could dismantle the entire roof.
Luego de quitar por completo el techo, el siguiente paso fué quitar las vigas, que se encontraban en muy mal estado, ya que eran de palos y muchas de las paredes son de bahareque, al ver esto nos preguntamos como no se había caído ese techo anteriormente; acá retiramos todos los cables de electricidad, que estaban inservibles, esta es una construcción que data de muchos años y los materiales ya no soportan mas jajaja.
After completely removing the roof, the next step was to remove the beams, which were in very bad condition, as they were made of sticks and many of the walls are made of bahareque, when we saw this we wondered how that roof had not fallen before; here we removed all the electrical wires, which were useless, this is a construction that dates back many years and the materials no longer support more hahaha.
Hasta acá llega mi ayuda (por ahora), ya que con la obra en limpio toca el trabajo de los soldadores y albañiles, cosas con las que no trabajo; están arreglando y subiendo la altura de las paredes para nivelar el techo, soldando tubos nuevos para la estructura del mismo; cuando ya terminen de techar todo el local, me reactivare a ayudar en mis ratos libres, a colocar los puntos de electricidad, pintar, limpiar o lo que haga falta hacer.
This is as far as my help goes (for now), because with the work clean it's time for the welders and masons, things I don't work with; they are fixing and raising the height of the walls to level the roof, welding new pipes for the roof structure; when they finish roofing the whole place, I will reactivate myself to help in my free time, to place the electricity points, paint, clean or whatever needs to be done.
Poco a poco les iré compartiendo el avance del proyecto, hasta lograr finalizar la mudanza a las nuevas instalaciones, me siento muy feliz de poder ayudar y aportar un granito de arena, esto es por el futuro de la familia y es bueno saber que con trabajo honrado los sueños se hacen realidad; por ahora se despide su amigo el Drhueso, hasta una nueva oportunidad.
