Hello everyone! I am Elaiza here again for another blog! 😊😊so today's blog is about what we did in the holy week. As far as I only know, Catholics believe in having Holy Week. where usually people cook for the holy week were biko Friday, and benignant, don't know what is the those English but that what is a recipe is, I guess? yeah maybe. desert, So let me begin today, what with did o HolyFriday. Friday morning, woke up at 6 in the morning to prepare for me to go to my grandma's where we would make the house, or sticky biko, with melted sugar or caramel rice, I know if that is what we call it. , so Anyway arrive I 8 in the there morning, then my grandma is making coconut oil.
To make coconut oil, there is only one ingredient: coconut juice. You know, guys, I don't know what the exact names of recipes and ingredients are. If I think that's what it is, then I will call it what I think it is. So that's how to make coconut oil. Stir it until it becomes an oil. And after making coconut oil, we will make biko, or sticky rice, with sugar and coconut oil as well. So before cooking, of course, we need a coconut for coconut juice. Here I am peeling a coconut. I don't know if that's the word, but yeah, hahaha.
Unfortunately, I can't do it because the dagger is left-handed, so it's hard for me to pluck because I am right-handed, so my brother takes my place.
As you can see, it is just so easy for him to pluck because he is left-handed. And after that, of course, we need to kagod, and I'm so sorry, guys. I don't know the English word for it, but the bisaya can understand it, so that's it. After that, my aunt and grandma cooked the biko, so I took a picture of it.
and after that, we spend our time with them, making chitchats, having small talk, and asking how our lives are going. and here my nephew is eating a mango. and after eating a mango, he's also playing with his toy gun.
He is so cute, and I want to share my niece, who is so adorable.
After all the chitchats and small talk, I went to my best friend because I had not seen her for a while since I was lying with my mother, my boss. We also talked, but a big talk, like talking about someone. Of course, a talk would not be interesting if the topic was not other people, but don't worry guys, we talked about how nice they are, how we love their bodies, like Jose talks, appreciating someone's beauty, and we also talked about our exam last week, and unfortunately, I did make a blog about it because I was so busy studying and reviewing for the exam.
