I was invited to the Ciego de Ávila concert with my children and husband.
Initially, I was invited alone, but I suggested that my children also play and that my husband participate as an interviewer and writer. Because, if you're going to travel, what better way to do it than with your family?
The trip from Las Tuna to Cielo de Ávila took approximately 5 hours, and we arrived early in the morning.
My husband had gone ahead and welcomed us along with the owner of the house where we were staying.
Our host is named Manuel, but they call him Manolo, and he's the owner of the hostel "La Casona."
This is the first time we've stayed at a hostel like this with our children. I'm so happy to be able to offer them this experience and personalized attention.
And so, thanks to Manuel and his delicious beans, my children and I had our first family meal in the province of Ciudad de Ávila.
My children have enjoyed every second of our time in the province, at Manolo's house. Especially because he won them over the first time he showed them his cats.
Well, what I wanted to share with you was my joy at our first family trip to an international music event with my children and husband.
This opportunity to share with them, to teach them new things professionally and personally, and to be present for their first times and experiences like being cared for by people like Manolo, is priceless.
It's been a beautiful journey... and it's just beginning.

Hola, amigos míos.
Me invitaron a la jornada de concierto de la Ciego de Ávila junto a mis hijos y esposo.
Inicialmente me habían invitado a mí sola pero, propuse que también tocaran mis hijos y que mi esposo tuviera una participación como entrevistador y escritor. Porque, si vas a viajar ¿qué mejor que hacerlo en familia?
El viaje desde las tunas hasta cielo de Ávila duró aproximadamente 5 horas y llegamos de madrugada.
Mi esposo se había ido adelante y nos recibió junto con el dueño de la casa donde nos hospedaríamos.
Nuestro anfitrión se llama Manuel pero le dicen Manolo y es el dueño de el hostal “La Casona”.
Esta es la primera vez en que nos hospedamos en un hostal como este junto con nuestros hijos. Me da mucha alegría poder brindarles esta experiencia y atención personalizada.
Y de esta manera gracias a Manuel y sus exquisitos frijoles mis hijos y yo tuvimos nuestra primera comida en familia en la provincia de Ciudad de Ávila.
Mis hijos han disfrutado cada segundo de los que hemos estado en la provincia, en la casa de Manolo. Sobre todo porque se lo ganó el primer momento en que le mostró a sus gatos.
Bueno lo que quería compartirles era mi alegría en el primer viaje en familia a un evento internacional de música junto a mis hijos y esposo.
Esa oportunidad de compartir con ellos de enseñarles nuevas cosas profesionales y personales y de que estar presente ante sus primeras veces y experiencias como la de ser atendido por personas como Manolo, no tiene precio.
Ha sido un hermoso viaje... y solo está empezando.
