maybe with less resources, but with the effort of everyone, the help of the family and with a lot of love, this last one is the main ingredient.
You nailed it! I'm sorry you can't afford a proper Christmas tree, but trust me, Christmas is about spending time with family, sharing love and making good memories. If you look at the religious part of the event, they had very little as well, yet they celebrated with what they have. Even a little Christmas decoration can do. BTW, how much is a Christmas tree in Cuba?
The price of the Christmas tree is difficult to specify because it can vary from one seller to another. In the so-called MLC stores, which are those of the Cuban state, I have not seen them and in some stores the price is high. For example, in some Facebook sales groups in my community they sell some, in 80MLC/USD and 75 USD, which is the equivalent of 19 000 pesos approximately. It is really complex! But as you say, they had much less and celebrated it, we will do the same.
Thank you very much for your visit and support! I am very grateful! My regards
I leave the link to some of the sales sites I mentioned to you:
Hi @erikah. There is no better Christmas present than being with family! With health, which is so necessary in these times! I really like the family atmosphere, we will share our Christmas all together, we have a small family, with time we are less because some are no longer here and others live far away. https://www.facebook.com/groups/3206875179562104/permalink/3772730632976553/?mibextid=zDhOQc https://www.facebook.com/groups/3112656002387388/permalink/3590973624555621/?mibextid=zDhOQc https://www.facebook.com/groups/597739571470590/permalink/1044458620132014/?mibextid=zDhOQc
That is a ripoff and honestly, who on earth would give that mush for a Christmas tree, especially in a country, where life is so difficult. As you said, you can make your own decorations and enjoy the event with family. Nothing else matters.
