Hace unos días andaba con la idea de que me gustaría salir nuevamente con las amistades que he ido construyendo a los largo de los últimos dos años, un plan sencillo porque se nos da un poco eso de "Planes bajo costo" y lo primordial era vernos.
En su mayoría suelen ser planes que van teniendo cambios en la ejecución, al comienzo había hablado de ir a Cachito, la panadería ésta que está en Chacao que ha sido bastante recomendada. Ya había dicho un par que si podía acercarse ese día y a esa hora, ya es suficiente razón para celebrar ¿salir con amistades en la adultez es complicado para todos?
Resulta que al llegar al lugar de encuentro, en la ciudad se había desatado el calor así que pensamos en ir a otro lugar a refrescarnos un rato mientras llegaban y así cambiaron los planes porque cuando las demás chicas avisaron que estaban en camino, les dijimos que estábamos en " El rincón del abuelo" y en vez de vernos en la panadería, ese fue nuestro punto de encuentro.
El Rincón del Abuelo llegó a mis oídos en una ocasión que planificábamos hacer una actividad con otras amistades (@dosisweb3 y @mayvileros), pero decidimos ir a otro lugar porque nos cancelaron la reserva un par de días antes.
Es un lugar sin pretensiones para compartir con amigos una charla relajada y amé que pudimos conocerlo en esa circunstancia, al llegar estaban abriendo y fue un oasis en el desierto que se me hacía Chacao a esa hora. Para el momento , me encontraba con @ch1nux y ya estábamos algo dispuestos a esperar a las chicas ahí , ¿Ya te conté que estaba haciendo un calor terrible?

En menos de una hora, me parece a mi, ya estabamos junto a @soymaferlopezp y @marymlp-8 así que había comenzado lo divertido. Unos días antes, nuestra amiga María Mercedes había cumplido años, no teníamos muy claro cómo tener algún detalle con ella , pero sabíamos que algo haríamos.

Unos minutos más tardes, se nos unió @madefrance y ya terminando nuestro tiempo juntos, se nos unió @solsticia que como todos los miembros de la mesa, se pudo acercar luego de trabajar. Teníamos sin vernos desde la CBW así que en líneas generales, fue el centro de la conversación. Nos habíamos visto en los pasillos y nos encantaba vernos haciendo algo "distinto" a la experiencia del año pasado, pero estando en la universidad, no tuvimos chance para ponernos al día así que ahora era la oportunidad perfecta.

A few days ago I had the idea that I would like to go out again with the friends I have been building over the last two years, a simple plan because we have a little bit of "low cost plans" and the main thing was to see each other.
At the beginning I had talked about going to Cachito, the bakery in Chacao that has been highly recommended. I had already told a couple that if they could come that day and at that time, it is enough reason to celebrate, going out with friends in adulthood is complicated for everyone?
It turns out that when we arrived at the meeting place, the city was hot so we thought we would go somewhere else to cool off for a while while they arrived and so the plans changed because when the other girls told us they were on their way, we told them we were at "Grandpa's Corner" and instead of meeting at the bakery, that was our meeting point.
El Rincón del Abuelo came to my attention when we were planning to do an activity with other friends (@dosisweb3 and @mayvileros), but we decided to go to another place because they cancelled our reservation a couple of days before.
It is an unpretentious place to share a relaxed chat with friends and I loved that we were able meet him in that circumstance, when we arrived they were opening and it was an oasis in the desert that Chacao was making me at that time.
By that time, I was with @ch1nux and we were already somewhat ready to wait for the girls there, did I tell you that it was terribly hot?
In less than an hour, it seems to me, we were already together with @soymaferlopezp and @marymlp-8 so the fun had begun. A few days before, our friend Maria Mercedes had her birthday, we were not sure how to have a detail with her, but we knew we would do something.
A few minutes later, we were joined by @madefrance and as we were finishing our time together, we were joined by @solsticia who, like all the members of the table, was able to come over after work. We hadn't seen each other since CBW so in general terms, she was the center of the conversation. We had seen each other in the hallways and loved seeing each other doing something "different" from last year's experience, but being in college, we didn't have a chance to catch up so now was the perfect opportunity.
Entre mis recuerdos hay muchos chistes, comentarios sobre el trabajo, el vernos próximamente así fuera en la plaza y anécdotas divertidas en las noches de la Caracas donde algunos andaban de "acaba trapos". Veamos, ¿Qué si te puedo contar? Si pudiste asistir o viste algún vídeo, el grupo de Hive que estaba participando activamente, llegó en un autobus. Resulta que en algún momento, mencionaron que ese autobús iría a alguno de los afters que se organizaron tras el evento y también nos mencionaron que llegaron a pensar que cuando llegó la comida, esa era la zona VIP porque quienes nos ayudaron andaban con su filipina, gorrito y de más.
Me parece que estábamos cómodas, teníamos unos pastelitos para acompañar la bebida y la conversación seguía, cual gente que no se ha visto en un buen rato. Tuvimos chance de felicitar a @soymaferlopezp por haber apoyado en Momento Blockchain y también compartir la emoción por @say-sarg que había participado en panel además de que estuvo trabajando en stand.

Me gustó poder compartir las primeras impresiones y todo el trabajo que conllevó estar ahí, hay conversaciones que solamente se tienen en persona además que fluyen con mayor facilidad si hay alguna cerveza de por medio. En esta parte de la anécdota,ya comenzaba a anochecer, te dije que @solsticia llegó un poco antes de irnos (igual amamos porque quería verla) y al saber que ya venía, decidimos activar el plan "¿Qué le hacemos a Mari?".
Se hizo algo de trampa porque ya yo cargaba unas velas de cumpleaños encima, nos faltaba yesquero y claramente, alguna tortica para cantarle cumpleaños. Como no habíamos cumplido lo de comer en "Cachito", ir ahí por algo a lo que pudiéramos poner la vela, fue la primera opción. Vimos una ración de torta de yogurt con gotitas de chocolate que me hizo ojitos y fue lo que compramos.

Si te preguntas "¿Una ración para tanta gente?", arriba te dije que era un plan Bajo Costo y lo importante era que la cumpleañera disfrutara algo para ella, ahí nosotros nos estábamos incluidos. Un poco después de llegar, Sol avisó que estaba cerca así que bajamos hasta el metro por ella y al llegar, solo fue cuestión de hacer las presentaciones necesarias para continuar con lo de cantar cumpleaños.
Ahí había una cómplice, a mi me puede parecer divertido cantar cumpleaños en un lugar "público", pero una nunca saber si al agasajado le puede incomodar, su hermana dijo que todo bien y le avisamos a Mari que le cantaríamos cumpleaños ahí mismo. AH, se me olvidaba decirte, ¿Recuerdas un tweet sobre un local que cobraba destorte? Para evitar eso, antes de ir por la ración, se preguntó si podíamos cantar cumpleaños ahí y obvio, nos dijeron que si, ¡y sin cobrarnos!

Volviendo a la escena en la que comenzamos a cantar, del bar se dieron cuenta y pusieron "Cumpleaños feliz" de fondo, en otra mesa como que había otro cumpleañero y se formó un relajo porque de pronto, todos en el local estaban cantando cumpleaños y déjame decirte, estuvo bonito. Ya no recuerdo qué tanto más tomamos después de cantar cumpleaños, pero cerca de las 7pm ya nos estábamos despidiendo.
Hay planes que se superan cuando pasas esa línea que te lleva a la improvisación y mientras todos tengamos la disposición para compartir juntos realmente estando presente, creo que las cosas fluyen de lo mejor. Agradezco haber podido estar con mis amistades en ese rincon de Chacao y ojalá se repita pronto.
Cuéntame, ¿Desde cuándo no planeas una salida con amigos?

Among my memories there are many jokes, comments about work, seeing each other soon, even if it was in the plaza, and funny anecdotes about the nights in Caracas where some of us were "acaba trapos" (just rags). Let's see, what can I tell you? If you were able to attend or saw any video, the Hive group that was actively participating, arrived in a bus. It turns out that at some point, they mentioned that this bus would go to one of the aftershows that were organized after the event and they also mentioned that they thought that when the food arrived, this was the VIP area because those who helped us were walking around with their filipina, beanie and more.
I think we were comfortable, we had some pastries to accompany the drink and the conversation went on, like people who have not seen each other in a while. We had a chance to congratulate @soymaferlopezp for having supported Momento Blockchain and also share the excitement for @say-sarg who had participated in the panel and was working in the booth.
I liked being able to share the first impressions and all the work that went into being there, there are conversations that can only be had in person and that flow more easily if there is a beer in between. In this part of the anecdote, it was already starting to get dark, I told you that @solsticia arrived a little before we left (we still love her because I wanted to see her) and knowing that she was coming, we decided to activate the plan "What should we do to Mari?
It was a bit of a cheat because I already had some birthday candles on me, we were missing tinder and clearly, some tortica to sing birthday to. Since we had not fulfilled our plan to eat at "Cachito", going there for something we could put the candle on, was the first option. We saw a portion of yogurt cake with chocolate drops that made my eyes glaze over and that's what we bought.
If you're wondering "A ration for so many people?", I told you above that it was a Low Cost plan and the important thing was that the birthday girl enjoyed something for herself, so we were included. A little after arriving, Sol let us know she was close so we went down to the subway for her and when we got there, it was just a matter of making the necessary introductions to continue with the birthday singing.
There was an accomplice there, it may seem funny to me to sing birthdays in a "public" place, but you never know if the guest might be uncomfortable, her sister said it was all right and we told Mari that we would sing birthdays right there. AH, I forgot to tell you, do you remember a tweet about a place that charged extra money? To avoid that, before going for the ration, we asked if we could sing birthdays there and obviously, they said yes, and without charging us!
Going back to the scene where we started singing, the bar noticed and played "Happy Birthday" in the background, at another table there was another birthday boy, and it got very relaxed because suddenly, everyone in the place was singing birthdays and let me tell you, it was nice. I don't remember how much more we drank after the birthday song, but around 7pm we were already saying goodbye.
There are plans that are surpassed when you pass that line that leads you to improvisation and as long as we all have the willingness to share together really being present, I think things flow in the best way. I am grateful to have been able to be with my friends in that corner of Chacao and hopefully it will happen again soon. Tell me, how long has it been since you've planned an outing with friends?

Supongo que al ser vecinos, ese local tomó el nombre de El Rincón del Abuelo.

La verdad es que si, no se necesitan hacer grandes planes para pasarla bien, ponerse al día y compartir un buen rato.
Aunque planificar una salida con anticipación también tiene lo suyo,lo importante es verse y cultivar esa amistad. 😄
