Celebrating Our Way: A Holiday Journey

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone ( I know I'm late again) but I hope you all had a merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones 🤗.

Let's Chicka (chit-chat) about what happened on my New Year and how we do do-it-yourself New Year decorations

I just celebrated my Christmas and New Year with a 2.5-kilo macaroni salad 😆, who has thought of making a 2.5-kilo macaroni salad for New Year's Eve right 😆. But Hi 🤗 I'm the one who did that 😆😆😆.

Since we are on a tight budget we just cook what food that we usually like or what food that got empty first so that we can't waste money to throw some food after New Year's Eve. I made this 2.5-kilo macaroni salad for 15 people because this past 2 years I noticed that after New Year's Eve, we have lots of leftovers because every time my family sees lots of food on the table they lose appetite so I decided that we will just cook food that we love and to avoid leftovers.

Aside from the macaroni salad, We also grilled fish for our dinner, and 1 kilo of spaghetti which gives our family a long life (old beliefs ).

For our decoration, We just printed a tarpaper for our background decoration and a little balloon from the last birthday decoration.

Don't forget the Color coding entry I found some clothes the same colour so luckily I found purple in the closet, the purple clothes for my kid were a gift by @minelwanduers20.

Me and my husband prepared a simple gift for the kids, which is the essence of Christmas and kids want and what they look forward to this Christmas and New Year present. Those gift rates are from 38 pesos to 55 pesos ( I will make a separate blog where you can buy quality toys at and lesser price.)

But before we start our program on that night I make sure that we have a picture taking so that we keep those photos until we grow old.

We also prepared some games for adults and for kids which makes our New Year more happier.

After we just waited for midnight to welcome 2025 and may this 2025 be filled with love, Joy and prosperity 💛🤗.

I will always be thankful for the year 2024 for making me stronger and better for facing 2025 with love and ready for all the challenges may throw this year. I am grateful because I am celebrating this New Year with my family.
