“When I was young, I admired clever people. Now that I am old, I admire kind people.”
—Abraham Joshua Heschel
Good day everyone! Today I wanted to share a story with you. This is about Lady Abegail Abrao, the sister of my friend Lovebern Faith. I never had a chance to meet Abegail in person. I just know her is that she is my lovebern sister. But based on the post of her and her family, Abegail is the kindest and genuine person,I hope I could meet.
Last year, Abigail and her family have been facing a difficult challenge. She was diagnosed with EWING’s SARCOMA / BONE OR SOFT TISSUE CANCER in its advanced stage.
Here's a brief overview of her treatment plan:
•Induction Chemotherapy: Abegail has started the first of her 6 sessions of induction chemotherapy, with sessions scheduled every two weeks. This phase will last almost three months.
•Surgery: Following the induction chemotherapy, she will need surgery.
•Consolidation Chemotherapy: After surgery, she will need eight sessions of consolidation chemotherapy.
• Radiation Therapy: The need for radiation therapy will be determined based on her progress during chemotherapy.
I was not sure whether to share this here, but I had this feeling that I have to do something and to reach out for support. Abegail is not only a loved one but also a pillar of strength and positivity. While prayers are powerful, the financial burden of her treatment is a concern in the real world.
I always use to help other in any way that I can do but I was also financially uncapable due to my father medication.
There is also other platforms that raising fund for Abegail's medication, they do a Hiking for a cause and also jam for a cause which a big help for Abe's family.
Abegail is still fighting strong and knowing how brave she is, we know she will overcome all of this.she is an inspiration to all of us. As she fights through her treatments, The medication and therapies are still on going but we know that our God is able and He will provide.
The hospital bills may be overwhelming for her family, so we are knocking on your kind hearts to help us raise funds to ease the hospital bills. Any amount, big or small, will be a huge help. Know that whatever you give in PURE LOVE will return to you a HUNDRED FOLD or MORE.
For those who can contribute, we will forever hold your kindness in our hearts. Every reblog and upvote is a big help on this journey towards Abegail's recovery and well-being.
