I could not agree more than that! Ever since I was younger, I’ve always had so much love for dogs. I don’t just treat dogs as my pets, rather, I treat them as my family, my best friend.
Now that I am renting my own space and living my adulting life, I am lucky I got an apartment which is pet-friendly, as we know, some apartment owners does not allow pets.
Meet my best friend Uno.
I adopted him at a Facebook Group : Cebu Adopt A Dog. I have been longing to have a dog since we transferred to our new place and there is no better way to get one than via adoption. Why shop when you can adopt, right?
When we first brought him to our apartment, we really had a hard time getting along with him, he might still be adjusting since we are not his real owners, but after a couple of days, he finally realized he had no choice than to stay with us.
Since we had our best friend, Uno, our house had double happiness since he brought so much joy into our lives.
Having a dog in a household will really bring out the fun. They are very sweet and charming and they always love cuddles.
Everytime we eat outside, we always make sure to bring food for him because he eats rice and viand. He is the reason why we always rush in going home, because we know someone is waiting for us.
There are a lot of things I love about Uno but here are some of the best moments I love most about him.
Yes, he sleeps with us in our bedroom. He loves it especially when the air condition is turned on. He loves to spend time with us indoor.
He knows how to open the door by himself, so if he gets left at the kitchen, he tries his best to open the door and enter the room. He is such a smart dog.
He plays with my son Jacob as much as he could. He has a patience as long as Rapunzel’s hair, he does not care what Jacob does to him, perhaps, making him happy makes him happy also.
Every time I binge-watch my favorite Netflix show, he just hangs out with me and he constantly sleeps like this. He loves it most when it is time for chill outs. He hangs out with me in our room especially the moment I turn on the air-condition, he is the happiest boy in the room.
My best friend, Uno, is such a little bundle of joy. He has no idea how much he makes me happy and brighten my day. We often go on walks and jogs too. He is my best friend, my companion.
And right now, there he is, waiting for me to finish writing this blog so when can cuddle.
