In the Philippines, we celebrate annual fiestas in honor of the patron saint that we have in our barangay. It is that time of the year where we host thanksgiving parties to all the blessings we received all year long. My cousin invited us to the fiesta of Brgy.Nailon, Bogo City, Cebu, Philippines.
THE MOST ADORABLE WELCOMING COMMITTEE. When we arrived at my cousins humble abode, we were welcomed by this furbabies who sniffed us endlessly. The dogs are so excited to see a lot of unfamiliar faces they don’t get to see everyday.
My cousin owns a lot of dogs both those with breeds and pure Filipino dogs. It can add security and protection in one’s homes but they too are the little addition to the family. We always consider them as a part of the family. I myself is a dog-lover therefore I can highly relate.
Their celebration was for lunch time and here are the foods they prepared.

It was such a sumptuous lunch that we shared. We also had a few shots of gin.

We also had some desserts which are the mango graham float and the match graham float which was really good tasting and was perfectly made. It was a 10/10 for me.
It was the perfect time for me to bond with my cousins knowing that we are not seeing each other so much these days due to our individual hectic schedules.
Fiesta Celebrations are just like Thanksgiving Celebrations, but we do not have the traditional turkey. Over-all it was such a fun experience with my cousins.
We talked about a lot the whole afternoon and we enjoyed the company of each other as we chitchat whatever we come in mind, we have a lot of catching up to do since my cousin just went home from Manila after a successful business trip. It was so much fun and it was indeed a happy fiesta, Nailon!
