The souls will continue calling one another “Home”

Little did I know that as we come across to our journey in life, we can meet a person that we didn’t expect to be holding a big significance on us. In my own understanding as per experience, this person can be the ONE that will bring meaning to your life whom will add colors to your drab life. The source of happiness and inspiration as we stumble upon.

Sharing you here a little story about how we started our relationship… way back 2009 during our high school days, I met Arc Frances, my former boyfriend and now my husband. We started as strangers because he was just my school mate and we don’t have any common friends. During that time, my boyfriend was his non-chalant cousin but it was just a glimpse of short time for like a month relationship because I think we are not compatible as to his personality who is very silent and doesn’t know how to handle the relationship. So, that’s when we started to know each other and I had no idea that he somehow interested on me and he started showing special attention that time.

It's pretty amusing thinking about it again because it's too embarrassing for me because that's how we started, and then I broke up with his cousin officially. We started first as friends and later on I discovered how kind he is and he always make sure to check on me all the time.

I even questioned myself a countless time if I’m really sure about him and yeah! It was also the time when I realized that we can learn to love a person. I learned to love him because he gave me a thousand reason to love him unconditionally.

He was the type of a person who gives attention to every detail about you. What I love the most about him is his humor that makes me laugh all the time, it wasn’t a boring relationship at all. As years goes by, we teach each other and we learn from each other, that’s how we grow our relationship.

Our relationship may not be perfect as to what others mostly expect, we also have our shortcoming, our thoughtlessness, we can sometimes be in a bad mood and even worse of it. But at the end of the day, we always make sure to reconcile and talk about how we can fix it. For me, it is all about communication – I value communication because that’s how we express our unsaid thoughts and how we agree and disagree some things.

My heart is full of gratitude, and my happiness is beyond measurable as we able to overcome a lot of challenges in life. I am very thankful to God for all the life lessons and the pain because it changes our life to become better.

After a long years building each other a foundation, my husband and I decided to step up to a new journey so the photos that I am sharing in this blog is our prenuptial photoshoot. As a couple, we took the lead in wedding planning and decided on every aspect. So since we really love nature specially beach, we decided to have our photoshoot in a beach that will show the natural beauty of nature. I wanted to capture a different type of photoshoot that will embedded the couple with the natures beauty as the background.

The location of our photoshoot is at Hermit’s Cove, Aloguinsan, Cebu. It’s like one and a half hour drive from my town City of Naga. What I love about the place is the gentle waters, green mountains, and the soothing ambiance that nothing can beat. We rented the place for just 2,000 pesos with an individual entrance fee of 100 pesos.

I told the prenup coordinator and the photographer to have the photos to look natural as if we just enjoyed each other’s company and it turned out the way I wanted. And to be honest, some of the pictures are just stolen shots during our breaktime. Those pictures tells a lot of history on how we build our own empire.
