My husband has a cousin who had moved out of the city to the more interior small town or village because he and his wife really love the nature and very environment-conscious-caring. It was a rare day they drove 3 hours to Kuala Lumpur to meet us. Therefore, we made it a point to must meet them.
Breakfast at Serasa Garden
I was too engrossed with the gathering and catching up until I forgot to take picture of this place.
Location: 301, Jalan Bandar 11, Taman Melawati, 53100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur
If you are interested, you may Google it up. It was a spacious place, nicely decorated and litted up and even has a stage for band at night to perform. And there is a small section for children arcade whereby you can buy tokens from Token Machine. I played Whack-A-mole with my son and the cousin's son.
My cousin-in-law is a Chinese like us, of course and he married a French so they have a really beautiful son, tall stature at the age of 7. Most people would think he is already 9 years old.
Breakfast spread
I didn't take everyone's food too because I found it unpleasant to interrupt people while they were eating, so I just took mine and my family.
I ordered a big breakfast to be shared with the sons, I meant whatever they couldn't finish, I would eat. If they could finish all, then superb for them. It consisted of a huge buttery flaky croissant, ham slices, scrambled egg, roasted tomato, baked beans, hash brown and vegetables. Really a huge portion and I was glad I ordered this.
I also ordered soft-boiled eggs and a cup of coffee for myself.
My husband's ordered a 'lontong' which was made of compact steamed rice wrapped in banana leaves. But for this plate, they had taken out the rice, cut it into smaller chunks and served with yummy coconut milk curry and with other ingredients. Super aromatic and flavourful, I got to try few mouthful.
My eldest son ordered a plate of 'nasi lemak' for himself and he was surprised by the green rice. Haha. But still, delicious overall.
We got to hang out for about 2 hours, lots of chit chat and catching up, and the younger boys also had fun together especially the 7yo and my youngest son.
Gifts
They brought us gifts us, snacks all the way from their place and even insisted one day we must make a visit there and to enjoy the sound of nature 24/7 and even the calming white noise from the river nearby.
They gave beautiful gems for our boys too which were carefully chosen according to the colours of their liking, saying that these gems and lots of properties which it stay close to the owner will improve our overall well-being.
Beautiful Jasper and Labradorite
He passed to me a bundle of shungaite rocks too, to be immersed in water and to drink that water, believing the rocks can cleanse and purity our water and good for our overall health.
I did it when I came back home.
Till we meet again next time, a group photo. But the youngest one, the 7-year-old boy disappeared due to camera shy. So I added an icon there to represent his presence. Haha!
By the way, my mother-in-law also passed to us Chinese pancakes and pumpkin pancake for our second breakfast at home. Haha. And I suddenly recalled a charcoal thingy from my parents-in-law, believing able to absorb harmful rays from computer.
