Good day, my dear Hivers!
It was nighttime after school when Dad picked us up, and he was craving some hot soup.
So, we first went to Joy’s Place.
As we were about to enter the restaurant, I asked if their batchoy was available, but unfortunately, the staff said it wasn’t at the moment. Since that was exactly what my dad was craving, we had no choice but to look for another place. We got back in the car and searched for a spot that had batchoy, but we still couldn’t find one.
And thus, with no choice we eventually stopped near NCC School instead, where someone was selling barbecue. When we arrived, my sister said, "I’ve eaten here with my classmates before." I replied, "Really? This is my first time!" She then added, "We eat here often because many students come here. I prefer this place."
A few minutes later, Mom placed our order. As I looked around, I noticed someone selling milk tea nearby, but I wasn’t interested this time because the weather was cold.
While I was still looking for the perfect seat, my sister smiled cutely at me.
We didn’t even realize that our food was ready because we were busy chatting and eating with my younger brother.
I only requested a single portion of rice because I had consumed snacks earlier and was already quite full.
Ultimately, we enjoyed a satisfying meal, and indeed, the food was delicious!
