From Class to Jollibee: A Casual Hangout

Good day, my dear Hivers!

Today, I want to share with you our lunch experience with my circle of friends. Yes, they’re the ones I was with this time—since I’m no longer a working student. But we've actually been friends for a while; it’s just that I only got the chance to hang out with them now.

After class, we were undecided about where to eat. I asked them twice, and one of our friends jokingly said, “Let’s just go to Jollibee.” Another friend was on a budget because she had a parcel to pay for—but we actually found out last week that they had been budgeting for a while. So, I asked again if Jollibee was okay, and she said it was fine.

And so, we went there.

When we arrived, there weren’t too many people since it was only 11 AM.

We sat at a spot with a mini black circular surface, and if you placed your phone there, it would charge automatically!

Only my friends' phones were charged—especially the iPhones.

We then placed our orders.

After eating, a Jollibee staff member approached us, asking if we were okay with answering their survey. They told us that if we participated, we’d get free ice cream.

Of course, we immediately said yes—we love ice cream!

The survey process was simple; we just scanned the receipt using our phones, and that was it.

We showed it as proof that we had completed the online survey, and the staff handed us our free sundaes.

Of course, we took some photos!

And that’s it, dear Hivers—our lunch with friends, wrapped up.

Your friend budgeting for a parcel is so relatable! Priorities 😂📦

We usually do that, scanning the qr and leave a feedback but one time when we did that, one of the staff keep ignoring us and it takes a hour before we get our free ice cream🥺 never again!
