Hello Hivers! How are you? I hope all is well with you. And yes, @itsmemic is here again!
Today, I'm excited to share with you a few things that will warm and flavor the season: the comforting embrace of the rainy weather, the significance of maintaining an active lifestyle through physical education, and the delicious flavor of sinigang soup. Together, let's explore these and enjoy the small joys.
Our plan for the day includes heading to Bogo Rizal Park promptly at 10:30. It's the perfect meeting spot for us to gather and catch a tricycle together. From there, we'll ride to my classmate's house, where we'll dive into practicing for our PE presentation. This plan not only ensures we arrive together but also gives us a few extra minutes to discuss our approach. Excitement and anticipation fill the air as we gear up for a productive session of teamwork and preparation.
It is a rainy day today and as soon as the rain started, we hurried and stand near the stage to avoid getting wet.
Nearby, a charming bench with an aesthetic design added to the serene atmosphere, quickly becoming my favorite spot. We were able to unwind and rest in the cool air while we awaited the arrival of our groupmates. This rainy day was surprisingly enjoyable and unforgettable due to the combination of the stunning surroundings, the soothing cold air, and the company of friends.
Then, our group mates have finally arrived. They’re chatting animatedly, and now our group of five is ready to start. Since we only have three umbrellas, two of our friends had to share to avoid getting wet from the rain.
For our lunch dish, my teammates had already brought everything we would need. They brought fish sauce, onions, tomatoes, siling mahaba, pork, and veggies for our sinigang na baboy soup. It is even more delightful to enjoy this hot and savory soup in this cold season.
Upon arriving, some of us made the decision to watch tv and take some rest so they could conserve their energy for dancing later.
In contrast to our typical practices' hectic pace, this one was more laid back. We were able to connect and joke around while cooking together.
When everything was prepared, we could hardly wait to eat and recover before starting to our PE presentation practice.
Our semi-final showcase features a performance that takes about 3 minutes to finish. It is really good that all groupmates were able to come to another groupmate’s house to practice. It is encouraging to see that everyone is working hard in order to make everything go well, and we be prepared. We have been really enjoying our classes, giggling and encouraging each other throughout the sessions. We were filled with relief and a sense of achievement after perfectly performing our 3-minute routine.
As for the remaining half an hour after the final rehearsal, we had our review for our midterm exam in dimensional analysis. We were able to have some help from an older friend, kuya Mark Andrew to teach us how to solve the problem right and get the correct answer.
And that’s it for today, hivers! Thank you for your time and kindness to read through.
it's really nice to have some time with the people around us😊
I totally agree, @marieyanlab ! It's so important to spend quality time with the people who matter to us. It really helps strengthen those bonds.💓
