Good Day, Hivers!

I'm back with part two of my blog, and yes, you got it right—it’s a continuation of our year-end party.

Post-Lunch Program Kickoff

After lunch, our finance head gave me the signal to start the program—just the right timing since we had already digested our food.

Here are the crowns that will be given to the winners and the 2nd runner-up. While the two candidates were getting ready, one of them started walking on the stage first, perhaps to get a feel of it.

Let the Games Begin!

We began the program with games because the audience was very ready to participate. Since some contestants were still retouching their makeup and one was still changing clothes, we decided to start with the games.

Game 1: Wear It, Baby Challenge

Are you curious about the name of our first game? It’s called the “Wear It, Baby Challenge.” Each group quickly formed teams of five because I announced:
"The last group to form a team of five members will be the one to give the prize."
This strategy was very effective and motivated everyone to participate enthusiastically.

One of the teachers, who was also a judge for later, demonstrated the game. At first, the name sounded familiar, but I thought it would be difficult since I had no idea how it worked. However, after Sir demonstrated and performed it, it turned out to be simple. After the game, our group won, and I was so happy!

Game 2: Bond Paper Relay

In this game, participants had to:

  • Clip four pieces of paper under their armpits,
  • Hold one with their jaw,
  • Clip another between their feet,
  • Then walk (or run) and circle the chair in front.

It was hilarious! Some participants laughed while walking, making it even funnier to watch them hold paper with their jaws.

Contestant Preparations

After finishing the two games, I had the contestants prepare outside the door so that when I called them, they wouldn’t have to rush to the stage. These young ladies were very well-behaved, waiting patiently for their turn.

But this time, they made me laugh so much! They said this was a new version of themselves that they would show, and it was so entertaining.

Production Number and Talent Portion

Minutes later, they entered, marking the start of their introduction and production number.

The audience laughed so hard their stomachs hurt!

Game 3: Marshmallow Chopsticks Relay

The idea for this game came from one of the accounting staff who was in charge of the games. And guess what? She’s really good at using chopsticks!

After the game, it was time for the talent portion—the macho gay segment. We couldn’t stop laughing because their talents were so hilarious.

  • One danced,
  • Another lip-synced,
  • And another sang.

The contestants were truly competitive and didn’t back down. Even when one of them slipped, they kept going as if nothing happened!

More Games and the Q&A Segment

After their presentations, the contestants waited outside while I was taking pictures—I couldn’t stop laughing!

Game 4: Straw and Paper Cup Relay

This time, the paper cup had to be passed using a straw. Group 3 won this game, which was our competitor. It turned out that Group 3 was the only group we lost to since we were Group 1.

Q&A Segment
When it was time for the Q&A, the contestants wore their long gowns. Before the questions, they had a one-minute walk to own the stage.

And you know what? Contestant number 2, after walking, went straight to the food area and started eating because she whispered that she was hungry. The audience laughed so hard!

Crowning and Raffle Time

After the three segments, the third contestant was declared the winner.

Following the announcement of winners, Ma’am held a raffle (which I mentioned in a previous blog). I won a hanger—it was sturdy and quite useful!
