Halloween- the only time people could dress up and be whoever they want to be for a night/day. Our company organized a trick or treat event for Halloween. This year, our theme is Inside Out since this movie is quite relatable not just for kids but also for adults. We all have these emotions so its so easy to resonate with it.

When the clock strikes at 1pm, everyone started preparing for the party. One department even dressed as Anger collectively. Our department wore costumes based on the different emotions portrayed in the movie and painted our faces to match the character. I dressed up as Fear.

It was so fun to dress up and make fun of our faces. Some of the characters includes Sadness, Anger, Anxiety, Nostalgia, Disgust, Fear, and Joy. We also have Riley as one of our characters. My favorite amongst all is Sadness.

For the food and refreshments, the organizers prepared ice cream and hotdogs during the program. By the end of the event, we had a hearty meal which includes barbecue, pancit, puso, and lechon manok.

The organizers also prepared candies in loot bags and a mini magic show for the kids. Some kids also dressed up in costume. I saw one that wore Pirates, and another one wearing a Ballerina costume. They sure had a lot of fun.

Spooky season is finally here and I cant wait to see more people wearing different costumes. Over the years, I noticed that Halloween costumes got more brighter and less spooky.

Last year, I dressed up as Mulan (see:Halloween 2023), which is still my favorite costume to date. However, this year's party is by far the best one i've had. I'm excited for the coming years a head.

That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!

Sending some love and light

Love, Jane

What a fun events, wearing costumes and having fun with the team. I never really experience a halloween party. But if ever I will attend one, I prefer to be watcher rather than wearing Halloween costume. Hehe

Same. Dressing up for halloween means being creative in transforming normal clothes into costumes (unless if you'd prefer a made to order costume). And it stresses me out too.
