These days our little Sofia had the opportunity to visit for the first time the largest shopping mall in the state of Zulia. The truth is that we had not planned to take her, but this family outing came up unexpectedly. A friend of Mrs. Milagros (Jesus aunt) asked us to meet her at this mall because she wanted to meet Sofia.
We gladly accepted the invitation. After all, we could all use a different moment because lately we were caught up in our daily lives. Apart from that, we would take advantage of the moment to debut the new baby car, which was a gift from this family friend, to whom we are deeply grateful.
The day arrived, and we were in expectation of how Sofia would behave, as she is not used to being in crowded places; since we preferred in her first months to keep her at home for her health and wait until she was a little older to go out to this kind of spaces.
Adaptation process
We arrived at the mall at noon, and just entering Sofia was a little restless and had her eyes wide open observing everything.

After the first ten minutes, she started to cry. We thought that she did not like the environment and I told myself that it would be a long and difficult walk, I must apologize to my daughter because it was not the environment but she was hungry (waves of laughter), after feeding her she relaxed and we could continue the walk. I think that was the best thing that could have happened because we were able to have a rested and happy Sofia for the rest of the walk.
Soon we met with the friend of Mrs. Milagros and her daughters and they were very excited about Sofia, so much so that they asked me to take her one day to Cabimas, the place where they live I am very grateful for their attention and the invitation, but I am sure that more than one day of visit would be a small trip given how far away this city is.
I was touched to see how Sofia inspired tenderness in the girls and her smile reached everyone who saw her, more than once we received blessings from them and strangers, wishing her the best in life. I have always wondered why she attracts so much attention and I have found no other answer than the grace of the Creator on her, who has accompanied her until today, and I ask Him to continue accompanying her always.
Sofia could have a lot of fun (as much as a baby can have), and she could look as much as she wanted because we didn't refuse to let her admire what caught her attention. A funny anecdote was her reaction to a person dressed up as a well-known children's cartoon.
It was quite comical to see her little face of astonishment confusion and finally acceptance of that person in disguise who was talking to her. I wish the pictures had turned out better but not for that reason I am not shy to share one with you It is very curious the reaction of Sofia to what surrounds her, because somehow or other she knows that she should not be afraid of certain things that are harmless as in this case since she is only a figure of entertainment.
We all loved this quality time with Sofia and I could see in the face of my mother-in-law, her sister, and Jesus the pure happiness This was a gift that they did not expect and it brightened not only their life but mine as well Jesus and I are excited about the rides we will take in the future, as we want to give our daughter beautiful childhood memories.

We certainly have to take extra precautions in these pandemic times, because we cannot underestimate the situation. It's up to us to enjoy responsibly but leave to live wonderful moments next to the people we love the most and in my case next to my fiancé and my beautiful daughter Sofia Elisabeth.

Recuerdos de nuestro paseo familiar
En estos días nuestra pequeña Sofía tuvo la oportunidad de visitar por primera vez el centro comercial más grande del estado Zulia. La verdad es que no habíamos planeado llevarla, pero este paseo familiar surgió de manera inesperada. Una amiga de la señora Milagros (la tía de Jesús) nos pidió que nos encontráramos en este centro comercial porque tenía deseos de conocer a Sofía.
Gustosamente aceptamos la invitación, pues nos venía bien un momento diferente a todos porque últimamente estábamos atrapados en la cotidianidad. Aparte de eso aprovecharíamos el momento para estrenar el coche nuevo, que fue un regalo de esta amiga de la familia, a la cual estamos profundamente agradecidos.
El día llegó y estábamos a la expectativa de como se comportaría Sofía, pues no está acostumbrada a estar en lugares muy concurridos; ya que preferimos en sus primeros meses mantenerla en casa por su salud y esperar a que estuviese un poco más grande para salir a este tipo de espacios.
Proceso de adaptación
Llegamos al centro comercial al mediodía y justo con entrar Sofía estaba un poco inquieta y tenía los ojos bien abiertos observando todo. Ella es una bebé muy curiosa así que nos pareció normal esa primera impresión.
Pasados los primeros diez minutos comenzó a llorar. Pensamos que no le había gustado el ambiente y me dije que sería un paseo largo y difícil. Debo pedirle perdón a mi hija, porque no era el ambiente si no que tenía hambre (risas), luego de alimentarla se relajó y pudimos continuar el paseo. Luego de un rato se durmió ya que comúnmente es lo que hace después de comer. Creo que eso fue lo mejor que pudo pasar, porque pudimos tener el resto del paseo a una Sofía descansada y llena de alegría.
Pronto nos encontramos con la amiga de la señora Milagros y sus hijas y ellas estaban muy emocionadas con Sofía, tanto que me pidieron llevarla un día a Cabimas, el lugar donde ellas viven. Estoy muy agradecida por sus atenciones y la invitación, peo estoy segura que más de un día de visita sería un pequeño viaje dado lo lejos que se encuentra esta ciudad.
Me enterneció ver como Sofía inspiraba ternura en la niñas y es que su sonrisa llegaba a todos lo que la veían, más de una vez recibimos bendiciones de ellas y de gente desconocida, deseándole lo mejor en la vida. Me he preguntado siempre porque ella llama tanto la atención y no he encontrado otra respuesta que la gracia del Creador sobre ella, que la ha acompañado hasta el día de hoy y le pido que la siga acompañando siempre.
Sofía se pudo divertir mucho (tanto como una bebé lo puede hacer) y pudo mirar tanto como ella quiso, porque no nos negamos a dejar que ella admirara lo que le llamaba la atención. Una anécdota divertida fue su reacción a una persona disfrazada de una reconocida caricatura infantil.
Fue bastante cómico ver su carita de asombro, confusión y por último aceptación de aquella persona disfrazada que le hablaba. Hubiese deseado que las fotografías hubiesen salido mejor pero no por eso me cohíbo de compartir una con ustedes. Es muy curiosa la reacción de Sofía a lo que le rodea, porque de alguna manera u otra sabe que no debe temer a ciertas cosas que realmente son inofensivas como en este caso, ya que solo es una figura de entretenimiento.
A todos nos encantó este tiempo de calidad con Sofía y pude ver en la cara de mi suegra, su hermana y Jesús la felicidad pura. Este fue un regalo que ellos no esperaban y que alegró no solo su vida, sino la mía también. Jesús y yo estamos emocionados por los paseos que haremos a futuro, pues queremos darle a nuestra hija hermosos recuerdos de infancia.

Ciertamente tenemos que tomar precauciones extras en estos momentos de pandemia, porque no podemos subestimar la situación. Queda de nuestra parte disfrutar con responsabilidad pero dejando de vivir momentos maravillosos ala lado de las personas que más amamos y en mi caso al lado de mi prometido y mi hermosa hija Sofía Elisabeth.

Que buena experiencia familiar, se le ve tan contenta a Sofía, aunque al principio estaba algo molesta por tener hambre.
También se encontraron con otras personas que les aprecia en el mismo paseo.
