The end of the year is approaching and the whole family is together, preparing for the New Year in style. To give you an idea, we even rented a bouncy castle for the kids. It's a day where everyone should make the most of it to celebrate another year that has ended and the beginning of another 365-day journey.
Waiting until the 31st is proving a bit difficult, with so many people together. To ease the tension a bit, we organized a stroll around the city of Natal with several stops and moments of family and social interaction. Staying indoors can be exhausting. Walking, playing, talking and tasting something delicious can be a good way to pass the time. Young people are very attached to their cell phones, and staying at home they don't want to leave the screens.
The afternoon was spent at the pool, i don't have a pool at home, i ended up taking everyone to a friend's house. It was a bit unexpected, but everything went well. There aren't many options in the city of Mountains. We traveled to the capital, passed by the coastal road, and showed them some beaches in the region. I took the opportunity to take everyone to see a place that has amphibians and reptiles. Wow, everyone was scared by a giant yellow snake.
It was early evening and everyone was hungry. We started with the food. I took everyone to a place that sells Japanese food. Most of them had never tried anything like it. Many made faces just looking at the food. Everyone thought that the place only sold raw food, but I showed them the fried options, everyone loved them. Only 4 of the 12 people tried the raw items, was one of them.
The day was tiring. We gathered our strength for our last stop: the gigantic and famous Mirassol Christmas tree with its incredible light show. Observing and appreciating this beauty made the tiredness disappear little by little, but it was getting late at night, we returned to our humble home. We arrived home almost midnight. Everyone went to bed, I still took a few minutes to enjoy a good wine and pizza with my beloved wife.
After such an intense day, I got some rest for the long-awaited New Year's Eve.

O fim do ano está chegando e a família toda reunida, se preparando para o Ano Novo em grande estilo. Para vocês terem uma ideia, até alugamos um pula-pula para as crianças. É um dia em que todos devem aproveitar para celebrar mais um ano que se encerra e o início de mais uma jornada de 365 dias.
Esperar até o dia 31 está sendo um pouco difícil, com tanta gente reunida. Para aliviar um pouco a tensão, organizamos um passeio pela cidade de Natal com várias paradas e momentos de interação familiar e social. Ficar em casa pode ser exaustivo. Caminhar, brincar, conversar e saborear algo gostoso pode ser uma boa maneira de passar o tempo. Os jovens são muito apegados ao celular, e ficando em casa eles não querem sair das telas.
A tarde foi na piscina, eu não tenho piscina em casa, acabei levando todo mundo para a casa de um amigo. Foi um pouco inesperado, mas deu tudo certo. Não há muitas opções na cidade de Montanhas. Viajamos até a capital, passamos pela estrada costeira e mostramos algumas praias da região. Aproveitei para levar todo mundo para conhecer um lugar que tem anfíbios e répteis. Nossa, todo mundo se assustou com uma cobra gigante amarela.
Já era começo da noite e todos estavam com fome. Começamos pela comida. Levei todo mundo para um lugar que vende comida japonesa. A maioria nunca tinha experimentado nada parecido. Muitos fizeram careta só de olhar para a comida. Todos achavam que o lugar só vendia comida crua, mas mostrei as opções fritas, todos adoraram. Apenas 4 das 12 pessoas experimentaram os crus, foi uma delas.
O dia foi cansativo. Reunimos forças para nossa última parada: a gigantesca e famosa árvore de Natal de Mirassol com seu incrível show de luzes. Observar e apreciar essa beleza fez o cansaço desaparecer aos poucos, mas já estava ficando tarde, voltamos para nossa humilde casa. Chegamos em casa quase meia-noite. Todos foram dormir, ainda tirei alguns minutos para aproveitar um bom vinho e uma pizza com minha amada esposa.
Depois de um dia tão intenso, consegui descansar um pouco para a tão esperada virada de ano.
