18th Birthday of my closest friend

This is my friend who celebrated her 18th birthday. She is Margareth Dy. She is one of the youngest among my girl friends, but she is mature enough to handle everything. Sometimes she will be the one to give advice with regard to our loved ones in life. She is very caring and enthusiastic. Every time there is a pageant, she is our representative since she is very fit for this kind of activity. She is also an intelligent one. At this moment, before her birthday, he chatted with me and said that you are included in the 19 candles. And my mind at that time is filled with fear and excitement. I experienced fear since this will be my first time attending this kind of event. Excited because it's my first time. I was struck by the question of if I could come. I told her that I would think first. From that moment, I realized if I did not face my feat, how could I grow? How can this fear be ended? Additionally, I was thinking about what would be my attire since it's my first time joining in this kind of event. I did not attend this kind of activity since I belong to the poor family, but I'm proud of it. In addition to that, without hesitation, I respond to her that I can attend so that I can experience too. Maybe this could be a lesson for me to grow and face my fear with the many people in my surroundings. A joyous occasion that I never had before. I am very thankful to her despite who I am; she invited me to join her joyous and harmonious occasion in her life, her 18th birthday, and I was one of the 18 candles.

This time I am dancing with her, and my name was the first to mention dancing with her. My heart is filled with happiness as well as fears since this is my first time. I don't know what to do, but I just keep on smiling until the music ends. I give a simple message to her to bring in her college journey. The college journey is not an easy one, but to put yourself in a situation where you have dreams to achieve, you will work hard for it. You need to sacrifice everything in order to achieve what you want in your life. After dancing, I sit and have time to eat dinner since I did not eat dinner because of my fear. I was scared by the people around me—what will they say?—but thankful that there's no compliment after all.

These are my fellow 18 Candle's buddies. Taking pictures together with her father, the last man who danced with her. I am very happy and enjoying this kind of occasion for this wonderful experience. I could imagine how beautiful life is, even if, in the midst of difficulties, there is always sunshine afterwards. A sunshine that can give us another lesson in life, another experience that could bring to the wonderful creation of God.

These are my fellow servers in the church. My girl friends and boy friends who are joining with her 18th birthday. The girl who are part of the 18 roses and the boys is the 18 candle's. We are very happy for experiencing this kind of occasions. Truly I can say, that in church I find happiness and a true family which could brings me and open me to the person who I wanted to be.

This is the last picture that we had. After the occasions, we go back to our respective sweet home. When I got home, I was looking at the stars and moon in the skies, reflecting how lucky I am to have them in my life. For experiencing this to me that I did not experience in my entire life. How I wish that this kind of bond and friendship that we have will last longer. But truly, I can say that in the end, only we can have anything other than. And with that, we should always think and be strong for the challenges and problems in life. Thankful for every opportunity that could bring me to the place where I used to be for shaping my personalities into a good one. Happy and blessed to have them, and thankful for the almighty God for his guidance throughout my life. Without him I am nothing, and with him I experience happiness.

How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord, mighty God? Wonderful are Your creations, each a testament to Your grace and love. As we celebrate the 18th birthday of my dear friend, I am reminded of the beauty and strength in the bonds we share. May we continue to be shed of Your light, honoring each milestone with gratitude. May our lives together in faith be a reflection of Your enduring goodness, and may this friendship be a gift that grows, blessed in Your presence.
