During the Dinner
It was an evening, just the previous day, spent with my Ministry of Altar Servers family, and I felt so privileged to be able to attend the event. There were so many memories and happy times in between. It was entirely a fellowship moment reminding me of how blessed I am in this spiritual journey.
Place name Gazebo ni San Vicente Ferrer
The place was very simple but beautifully arranged and is where the essence of our ministry lies: humble servitude and meaningful relationships. But as I looked around our table, the faces of my co-server, put a smile on my face. These people are those who are next to me in the liturgies, share responsibilities, and pray by my side.
Dinner started with a prayer as always should, thanking the Lord for the meal we are about to share and for the bonds we forge through Him. Each dish is served with love, and the passing just makes one feel like he is part of it. The sharing is more than a meal but a piece of joys, struggles, and dreams that are shared.
There were ties and laughter that could only be cut off by the atmosphere of weighty and weighty stories. The reminiscence was spent some time going through those masses that have memorized themselves and then spoke of the valuable things learned while giving time out on service. The older members restored the wisdom they grew on career paths while the younger energy kept the reminder going of why we are here in the first place.
Another unforgettable feature of the evening was the slight recognition ceremony in which milestones and achievements in ministry were celebrated. It was quite touching to see that each member's dedication and zeal could be recognized, thereby solidifying their commitment to serving God and serving the people of God.
As the night's events drew to a close, we came together for one last prayer, thanking God for the strongest bond forged between us. It was more than just a dinner; it was a testimony to the might of faith and fellowship.
From leaving that gathering, my heart was full. It's times like this that remind me of why I love to serve. The Ministry of Altar Servers isn't just any group-it is a family that promotes my faith and keeps me on the path that God has laid out for me.
This evening will stay with me as a treasured memory, reminding me of how beautiful a community is and the joy it brings to serving together.
