The nicest thing about Christmas is being able to enjoy the company of our relatives and friends, that is, for me, the essence of Christmas, all of us getting together around the table and enjoying delicious food, food prepared with the only intention of making the evening magical and, between laughter and anecdotes, giving each other a hug full of good wishes is the best thing in the world.
A few days ago, after a whole year of work and, in my case, an office full of papers and invoices to process, the time came to take a break and enjoy a rich Christmas lunch, and that's exactly what I'm going to tell you about today.
Hola, Hola amigos de Hive, Feliz navidad, espero que todo lo bueno de la vida llegue a ustedes y por supuesto a sus familias. Hoy estoy feliz, por muchas razones, pero la principal, es porque puedo saludarlos y compartir con ustedes parte de mi vida.
Lo más bonito que tiene la navidad es poder disfrutar de la compañía de nuestros familiares y amigos, esto es, para mí, la esencia, de la navidad, juntarnos todos en la mesa y disfrutar de comida rica, comida preparada con la única intención de hacer que la velada sea mágica y entre risas y anécdotas darnos un abrazo cargado de buenos deseos es lo mejor del mundo.
Hace pocos días, después de todo un año lleno de trabajo y en mi caso, de una oficina cargada de papeles y facturas por procesar, llego el momento de tomarnos un respiro y disfrutar de un rico almuerzo navideño, y es esto justamente es lo que hoy te vengo a contar.

We are a great family, the work environment is very good, fortunately and we had a lot of time without sharing a meeting like this, although we share the table every day, since we have lunch together at work, it is not the same, this lunch without a doubt, it was special.
Gradually the tables were filling up to enjoy a delicious Christmas dish, which I forgot to take pictures of, because I am very absent-minded and that hallaca did not want to wait.
The Christmas dish consisted of a rich hallaca, although our bosses are foreigners for the most part, they pamper us and pamper themselves with the gastronomic traditions of my country Venezuela, especially at Christmas. Hallaca, bread and chicken salad, everything was absolutely delicious.
As you can see in the pictures, the table was served outdoors on one of the terraces of the Monastery, with a wonderful view, the day was perfect, so everything went perfect.
Para ponerlos un poco en contexto, trabajo en un Monasterio trapense al sur del Estado Mérida, adoro mi sitio de trabajo, porque es un lugar muy cálido donde puedes pasar unos días de relax increíbles (Sin intención de hacer publicidad Jajaja)
Somos una gran familia, el ambiente de trabajo es muy bueno, afortunadamente y teníamos mucho tiempo sin compartir una reunión así, aunque compartimos la mesa todos los días, ya que almorzamos juntos en el trabajo, no es igual, este almuerzo sin duda, fue especial.
Poco a poco las mesas se fueron llenando para disfrutar de un delicioso plato navideño, al cual olvide tomarle fotos, porque soy muy despistada y esa hallaca no se quería hacer esperar.
El plato navideño consistió en una rica hallaca, aunque nuestros jefes son extranjeros en su mayoría, ellos nos consienten y se consienten a ellos mismos con las tradiciones gastronómicas de mi país Venezuela, especialmente en navidad. Hallaca, Pan y Ensalada de gallina, todo estaba absolutamente delicioso.
Como ven en las imágenes, la mesa se sirvió al aire libre en una de las terrazas del Monasterio, con una vista maravillosa, el día estaba perfecto, así que todo salió perfecto.

They gave us coffee to all the workers, coffee that is produced right here, very good. They gave me makeup, I'm very happy with the gift, we were all happy, we deserved it, we work very hard and these moments without a doubt recharge your soul.
En navidad no puede faltar los regalos y esta es una de las tradiciones mas bonitas, el amigo secreto, aquí armamos el bochinche, todo fue risas y bromas. Un momento maravilloso, al recibir esos detalles, de cada uno de nuestros compañeros.
Nos regalaron café a todos los trabajadores, café que se produce acá mismo, muy bueno. A mi me obsequiaron maquillaje, estoy muy feliz con el regalo, todos estábamos felices, lo merecíamos, trabajamos muy duro y estos momentos sin dudas te recarga el alma.
There was also time for reflection, we attended church and thanked for another year of blessings. It was a great day, a great experience with my second family, my great family of the Trappist Monastery of the Andes.
También hubo tiempo para la reflexión, asistimos a la iglesia y agradecimos por un año mas de bendiciones. Fue un gran día, una gran experiencia con mi segunda familia, mi gran familia del Monasterio Trapense de los Andes.

Es una reunión donde la foto del plato navideño, tampoco hizo falta, así que tranquila, porque allí se ve en cada comensal, el contenido. Me parece que lo más hermoso de este momento fue la espiritualidad, el compartir esa comida, los regalos, todo en conjunto significa abrazos, armonía, navidades. De eso se trata.
