Last May 9, this year 2024, my one friend, who is our neighbor, celebrated her debut with 18 roses, 18 candles, and 18 treasures. All of us were invited to come to the venue of the said celebration. The debutant is Gemma Seguisabal; she is the oldest daughter in the family. I am part of her 18 candles, and I was the second one who would give a message to the debutant, so I did it.

One thing that surprised me was that her mother asked me to become one of the host of the said event, so I agreed, and here I am reading the script that was given by my co-host. I saw how happy she was during her debut, and also her one friend invited by her to become part of the 18 and when the time they are dancing, their beautiful smiles and their eyes match very well.

A lot people will say that the debutante looks like a chinese because of her cute eyes haha, she's beautiful in her red dress, which made her more attractive and this is her supportive family.

18 ROSES
During the 18 roses part of a debutante's celebration, 18 men who are choosen to dance will dance, 18 roses are traditionally chosen to deliver roses to the debutante. Each guest will approach the debutante, hand her a rose, and say a few words or make a dedication. The debutante may then dance with each guest to represent the unique tie or relationship they share. It is a customary and symbolic component of the debut ceremony, frequently packed with meaningful comments, memories, and well-wishes from family and friends.

18 CANDLES
During the "18 candles" section of a debut, each person chosen to participate usually approaches the debutante one at a time, generally accompanied by a unique song or music. then light a candle on a decorated stand or cake to represent their unique role in shining the debutante's journey into maturity. Following the lighting of the candle, I gave a brief speech to the debutante, expressing my love, support, and best wishes for her future.

During the 18 treasures part of a debutante's celebration, 18 selected individuals deliver gifts and send good wishes or messages to the debutante. Typically, each treasure giver is brought up one by one to offer their gift.

I was so happy while attending the debut. Way back when I was 18, I celebrated my debut with a simple celebration, not just like Gemma Celebration, but I am still grateful that my family made me happy that time, once in a lifetime I know her family made it more memorable.
The family of the debutant hired a photographer and we really love the result and its quality super affordable and I was so satisfied haha. By the way this now a new stage of my friend's life , It marks as a significant milestone in her life.
I wish her all the best in life , we only lived one so live life to the fullest.
