Le tengo que dar muchas gracias a Dios por la madre que me ha regalado. Ella es una mujer valiente, fuerte, hermosa y delicada. Ha estado conmigo en los momentos más duros, y me ha ayudado a convertirme en la mujer que soy hoy. En mis momentos más tristes, es la única capaz de sacarme una sonrisa. Siempre diré que la mitad de todos mis logros serán siempre de ella, y de mi papá; otro ser maravilloso a quien amo y admiro con todo mi corazón.

Hoy mi mamá y yo salimos a hacer unas gestiones, y de manera espontánea, se me ocurre invitarla a un helado en DelaCrem, una heladería cercana a la casa. Ella gustosa aceptó, y juntas pasamos una tarde literalmente muy DULCE y encantadora, con la mejor compañía del mundo, la de mi mamá.
El lugar es precioso, amé la decoración, los muebles. La atención también fue muy buena y la calidad de las ofertas gastronómicas me pareció muy satisfactoria también. Mi mamá decidió pedir un taco de helado de vainilla y mantecado. Estaba espectacular y se veía muy agradable a la vista. Pero qué gracia me dio cuando a mi mamá se le fueron los ojitos a mi frapuccino, porque tenía merengue encima. Y mi mamá adora el merengue jajaja. Entonces, le di mi frapuccino y terminé comiéndome su taco de helado, aunque no era lo que quería realmente. Pero su carita sonriente lo valía todo.
Este momento me hizo recordar tantas y tantas veces que mi mamá se ha quitado absolutamente todo por mí. Todas las veces que se ha sacrificado y que me ha priorizado a mí antes que a sus necesidades personales. Porque mi mamá me ha dicho y demostrado que mi hermano y yo somos su vida.
My mom decided to order a vanilla and buttercream ice cream taco. It was spectacular and looked very pleasing to the eye. But how funny it was when my mom's eyes went to my frapuccino, because it had meringue on top. And my mom loves meringue hahaha. So, I gave her my frapuccino and ended up eating her ice cream taco, even though it wasn't what she really wanted. But her smiling face was worth it all.
This moment reminded me of so many, many times my mom has taken absolutely everything for me. All the times she has sacrificed and prioritized me before her personal needs. Because my mom has told me and shown me that my brother and I are her life.
Me dio demasiada alegría poder tener este pequeño gesto con mi mamá. Porque sí, cualquier cosa que yo haga será insignificante en comparación con lo que ha hecho mi mamá por mí. Quien me ha dado todo su amor y paciencia. Y a pesar de todos mis errores nunca deja de perdonarme y amarme.
Porque madre es eso... es ternura, es entrega, comprensión, sacrificio, paciencia, pero sobre todo es amor. Y esta última palabra encierra perfectamente lo que es una buena madre, un ser lleno de amor. Que por sus hijos aunque no tenga fuerzas, se hace fuerte; si tiene miedo se vuelve la más valiente. Una madre por ver a sus hijos felices no escatima nada. Por eso es deber de los hijos, pagar está deuda eterna de amor como único puede pagarse, amando sin medida al ser que lo dió todo por nosotros.
