ENGLISH VERSION
Last year I made a trip with my cousin Agus to El Bolsón, we went to meet my nephew Severino and to visit my brother who went to live there a few years ago.
To me the truth, and excuse the sincerity, the city of El Bolsón does not seem beautiful to me, but I can not fail to rescue that in the vicinity there are wonderful places. We were lucky enough to be able to go around a bit and I am going to tell you about it.
The first day we were at my brother's house, sharing with Seve and the family. We picked apples from the tree, which were incredibly tasty and as we were tired, we decided not to do any sightseeing that day.
The next day, in the afternoon, we climbed Piltriquitrón hill, the great attraction of the city. We did not get to the base, but I swear we were incredibly high! You could see the clouds below us. It was a cool afternoon, and it was beautiful to see how little by little the smoke from the chimneys appeared, the sun went down and a few little lights came on. We went up super warm, with churros and mate. The truth is, it was a beautiful experience.
The third day, we decided to go to Lago Puelo, in this case, my cousin and I went alone. Lago Puelo is located a few kilometers from the city of El Bolsón, we went with a bus that left us a few meters from the national park. We took some sandwiches and ate on the shore of the river while we got our feet wet, with a lot of courage since the water was freezing. After lunch, we walked up a hill, at the top, there was a huge rock, where besides taking some beautiful pictures, we took a nap in the sun.
Fourth day and perhaps the most demanding (and incredible) of all. We also went alone with Agus, because they are not easy trails to do with a baby. We went to the Cajón del Azul... it is a walk that is recommended to do in two or more days since it is quite demanding (nothing out of this world, but I imagine that you enjoy it more) it is full of shelters on the way; But, we did it in one day. We hiked for about 4 hours through some incredible forests until we reached the drawer. The view was beautiful, but we wanted a little more, so we decided to climb (climb maybe is too much to say) and came to a waterfall. The most incredible place I have ever been, I think, in my life. You can see in the pictures, the water, no filter, is that color. We filled bottles and never tasted water that tasted so much like water, we ate something on the river bank, we almost killed ourselves trying to climb up and we started our way back... When we got to the base we had a beer and went back home. I think my feet still hurt.
On the last day and before returning to Buenos Aires, we went to Bariloche to visit a friend who lives in front of the Catedral and we were lucky enough to have snow. A complete vacation in the south, with family, friends and incredible landscapes. You can't ask for more.
