Creo que todos tenemos amigos especiales, amigos con los que podemos hablar de cualquier cosa, y con “cualquier cosa”, hablo desde las cosas más naturales o banales, hasta problemas o debates mentales que tengamos, y de temas que nos apasionan en común con cierto grado de profundidad, que nos permite construir una conversación que no solo nos resulte entretenida y amena a ambos, sino que también nos da la oportunidad de aprender cosas nuevas e interesantes que no sabíamos sobre esos temas y que el otro sí, e incluso nuevas perspectivas de la vida. Hoy vengo a la hermosa comunidad de Family and Friends para contarles de quién es ese amigo mío que es así.
Su nombre es Manuel. Lo conocí hace ya casi 10 años, cuando apenas estaba empezando el primer año del liceo, es de las personas más inteligentes que conozco, y desde siempre ha sido una persona a quien le tengo una enorme confianza. Como antes estudiábamos juntos, pues teníamos mucha más oportunidad para hablar y compartir dentro del liceo, y también fuera de él, salíamos mucho a ferias, a visitarnos e incluso llegó a quedarse en mi casa varias veces. Ya después de graduarnos por supuesto que eso disminuyó, pero no lo hizo tanto, ya que de las personas que conocí en esa etapa de mi vida, él es de hecho con quien más hablo en el día a día.

Y aunque como mencioné antes, esa frecuencia para vernos ha disminuido, pero no nuestra confianza. Seguimos muy al tanto del otro, y en la dinámica de nuestra amistad actualmente lo que hacemos es tratar de vernos al menos una vez al mes, para charlar y compartir anécdotas, y algunas veces comer algo dulce para pasar el rato mientras hablamos. Así fue, de hecho, nuestra última y más reciente salida. Nos encontramos en el centro de Juangriego, que queda cerca de donde vivimos y además tiene lugares donde podemos estar tranquilamente.
Ese día, además de estar un rato en una de las plazas hablando, decidimos ir a Rio Supermarket, un supermercado en el cual hay áreas de comida, café, panadería, pastelería, etc, y que además tiene muy buen ambiente. Luego de un rato decidiendo Decidimos comprar unos trozos de brazo gitano que por cierto estaban muy ricos de sabor y de todo, lo cual fue perfecto para acompañar la conversación. De las cosas más entretenidas de las que hablamos fue de algo que a los dos nos atrae, y que a mí en lo particular me apasiona mucho ya que es lo que estudio: Los idiomas. Resulta genial tener un amigo con tanta confianza con quien pueda hablar de eso con el mismo interés, e incluso aprender cosas nuevas de ello. Hablamos de detalles de fonética de distintos idiomas (Principalmente del francés), así como su gramática y sus reglas en las oraciones que nos resultan similares a las del español. Y además, me habló acerca de un idioma “artificial”, es decir, creado por una persona, del cual no sabía absolutamente nada, llamado “Ithkuil”, y se dice que es el más difícil de aprender.

Sería difícil ponerme a pensar en alguna conversación que haya tenido con Manuel en la que no aprenda algo nuevo, es una persona muy interesante, además de un excelente amigo.

A little about my friend Manuel | Our last outing
I think we all have special friends, friends with whom we can talk about anything, and by "anything", I mean from the most natural or banal things, to problems or mental debates we have, and about topics we are passionate about in common with a certain degree of depth, which allows us to build a conversation that is not only entertaining and enjoyable for both of us, but also gives us the opportunity to learn new and interesting things we didn't know about those topics and that the other one does, and even new perspectives on life. Today I come to the beautiful Family and Friends community to tell you about this friend of mine who is like this.
His name is Manuel. I met him almost 10 years ago, when I was just starting my first year of high school. He is one of the most intelligent people I know, and he has always been a person I have great confidence in. Since we used to study together, we had much more opportunity to talk and share inside the school, and also outside of it, we went out a lot to fairs, to visit each other and he even came to stay at my house several times. After we graduated, of course, that decreased, but not that much, since of all the people I met during that stage of my life, he is in fact the one I talk to the most on a daily basis.

And although as I mentioned before, that frequency of seeing each other has diminished, but not our trust. We are still very aware of each other, and in the dynamics of our friendship nowadays what we do is try to see each other at least once a month, to chat and share anecdotes, and sometimes eat something sweet to pass the time while we talk. Like that was, in fact, our last and most recent outing. We met in downtown Juangriego, which is close to where we live and also has places where we can be quiet.
That day, besides spending some time in one of the squares talking, we decided to go to Rio Supermarket, a supermarket in which there are food areas, coffee, bakery, pastry, etc., and also has a very good atmosphere. After a while deciding we decided to buy some pieces of gypsy arm, which by the way were very good in taste and everything, which was perfect to accompany the conversation. One of the most entertaining things we talked about was something that both of us are attracted to, and that I am particularly passionate about since it is what I study: languages. It's great to have a friend with so much confidence with whom I can talk about it with the same interest, and even learn new things from it. We talked about phonetic details of different languages (mainly French), as well as their grammar and their rules in sentences that we find similar to those of Spanish. And also, he told me about an "artificial" language, that is, created by a person, of which he knew absolutely nothing, called "Ithkuil", and it is said to be the most difficult to learn.

It would be difficult to think of any conversation I have had with Manuel in which I have not learned something new, he is a very interesting person, as well as an excellent friend.
