Hola Hivers!💫
Hello Hivers! 💫
There are sculptures and monuments that we see from childhood and become part of our history and culture, such is the case of this famous Pirate that is in the city of Puerto La Cruz and that I visited many times in my childhood with my father and now I had the opportunity to visit with my daughter, it was a very nice experience and today I share it with all of you! 💙✨
Since 1984 there is in the Paseo Colon or Paseo de la Cruz y el Mar an emblematic sculpture of a big and fat pirate that was made by the artist Pedro Campos, this sculpture is known as 'El Pirata' and is one of the most visited places by tourists and passersby of the Eastern region. In this Pirate big and small take pictures to have nice memories of their visits to this beautiful boardwalk that has the Caribbean Sea in the background and is surrounded by palm trees and lots of beautiful vegetation, so when coming to Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela 🇻🇪 is a fixed stop.
This time when arriving from Cumana to Puerto La Cruz we stopped to show as usual this sculpture to my daughter, I always tell her the story of when her grandfather used to take me for a ride, we always took a picture in the pirate sitting on his leg and rubbing his big pansa then we went for some churros that sold nearby in a small trailer, are beautiful memories that I love to share with her and now that she is older she pays more attention, so she told me she wanted to recreate a picture like the ones I took with her grandfather.
This day was sunny so we both took our pictures with sunglasses, I love to share these moments with my daughter because I know that in the future she will remember them just as I remember the ones I spent with my father. I told her that this sculpture belonged to a restaurant that was on this boardwalk many years ago and is more than 40 years old, we took pictures and then we walked for a while on the beach that is very close, it was certainly a special moment that I treasure in my heart.
Finally after the mini tour and photos we continued our tour in the city of Puerto La Cruz, we had a super nice time and as always it was a pleasure to share my experiences with you! ✨ Thanks for reading me! 😃 See you very soon! 💫
