Stood Still Memories: A Reunion with an Old Friend!

"blogserye" (blog series), I will be featuring our fun activities with my long-time friend at Ayalla Malls Central Bloc. Come join me as I share here with you how our day turned out.Hello dear hivers, I am @marfeatures, and I am back with a new blog. How are you? I hope you are all doing well. For today's

It's always been nice meeting old friends; they played an important part in our lives that made us what we are now. Old friends are those we always chat online; planned to meet, but plans always turned drawing, hahaha. It's a famous informal word of Gen Zs for plans not realized, "drawing nasad ni tanan natong plano." But despite all of these, sometimes planned meetups come to realization, and I'm so happy that our planned meetup with an old friend was realized.

An old friend invited me for a meet-up; she said she would treat me. Of course, who am I to decline the offer? Aside from it's her treat, hahaha, I really wanted to meet this old friend since we only meet once in a blue moon. She is my high school friend; let's just hide her name and call her "Duedate." Hahah. When in high school, I always liked going with my "Korean friend.". She is caring, giving, and, most of all, a good friend. Among my friends, she is one of my most cherished because of her genuine personality. Oh, how good it is to have a friend like this; we may be parting ways now, pursuing different paths, but the bond remains the same and even tighter.

We meet at the Ayala Malls Central Bloc; it's a famous mall here in Cebu. Initially, we planned on going to Tops also in Cebu, but it turned out that so many people are also going there. Given also the time, the Sinulog is fast approaching; that's why most of the people from the province and even from other parts of the Philippines flock to Cebu City to witness the Sinulog Festival. So we've decided to just meet at the Ayalla Malls.

We roamed and strolled around the mall and enjoyed a fun time together. The Ayala Malls interior was indeed stunning; it offers a variety of spaces worthy to pose along with its modern and sustainable design and elements. On the other hand, its exterior formed a curved facade that helps reduce heat going through the mall. Moreover, the building is covered with green walls so that it will help reduce the urban heat. It also has natural ventilation techniques to reduce the use of air conditioning.

The most notable part of the mall for me is their open spaces; it somehow promotes a sense of interaction and community among shopping enthusiasts. Additionally, they also have solar panels. All of these made the mall receive numerous awards and recognition for its sustainable design, architecture, and practices.I can't help but pose in every corner of the mall. Ayala Malls Central Bloc is indeed a beautiful place to wander, especially if you are with your friends.

I can't help but be mesmerized by its amazing and stunning architecture. I really enjoyed our time together with my friend. This is your sign to plan a get-together with a long-time friend. What are you waiting for? Maybe your friend is just waiting for your invite. It's about time to give yourself a break from the exhausting work or school.

Lastly, we end our stroll at the famous fast food chain in the Philippines, the Jollibee. We eat our dinner and share some thoughts and gossips together. I really enjoyed, as in super enjoyed our fun time together. I don't know when will be the next time, hahah. Moments passed, we concluded the day with a sweet goodbye.

That's all for now, Hivers. I hope you've enjoyed reading my blog. Help me reach a bigger audience by upvoting, commenting, and reblogging. Have a great day ahead, everyone. See you in my next blog. Bye-bye! 👋💗🌷✨

I have never been to Ayala Malls Central Blocs and looking forward to have a stroll in this place soon 💗

Am I a country bumpkin if I say I've never been there? I've only been to SM malls since it's the most convenient for me.😅
