ᴡᴇʟᴄᴏᴍɪɴɢ ᴛʜᴇ ɴᴇᴡ ʏᴇᴀʀ ᴡɪᴛʜ ꜰᴀᴍɪʟʏ 💗

Hello wanderers! It's me, Marinel (@minelwanders20), sharing with you our New Year's Eve celebration. It was a night to remember as I spent it with my family and loved ones. The preparations were filled with excitement, from decorating the house to preparing a feast of spaghetti, mango float, different kind of chicken and pork dishes, buttered shrimps and round fruits. A lot of preparations for a prosperous new year ahead!

As the clock tick closer to midnight, we shared laughter and enjoyed each other’s company, savoring the moments that made the celebration special. To pass the time, we sang our hearts out during karaoke, we sing our favorite songs, captured memories with countless photos, and drink some flavored beer, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. We also exchanged some gifts with our family and love ones. Something that will be very useful for them, and of course something that they will be grateful of.

While waiting for the time, we took selfies and group photos as a remembrance of this year’s celebration with our family. It wasn’t just about capturing pictures—it was about preserving the love, laughter, and memories that made this moment so special. Each snap held a story, a shared smile, or a burst of joy that reflected how much we valued being together. The photos were more than just images; they were tokens of a bond strengthened by time and shared experiences. This celebration reminded us that the best memories are made with the people who matter most.

Two minutes before midnight, we prepared all the fireworks and noise-makers for the night’s celebration. My mom brought out a bunch of coins to shake and toss around for all of us, believing it would bring prosperity and luck. Meanwhile, my husband readied his motorcycle, planning to rev it loudly to join in the noise. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as everyone added their own twist to the celebration. There were so many fun traditions, and we were all eagerly waiting for the clock to strike twelve, marking the start of a new year filled with hope and joy.

After the fireworks and noise-makers, we continued celebrating the New Year by singing karaoke and sharing a few drinks. Despite it being just our family, we had so much fun, enjoying each other’s company and making the most of the night. By 2 AM, one by one, our family members began heading to bed, tired and sleepy after a long day of preparations. From cooking and decorating the house to setting up everything for the celebration, the effort had finally caught up with them. It was a well-deserved rest after a joyous night filled with laughter, music, and togetherness.

Eventually, it was just my husband and me left in the living room, still enjoying ourselves and savoring the moment. We kept singing karaoke, unbothered by the noise from our neighbors who were also celebrating with their own videoke sessions. We lost track of time but wrapped up our chill-out session around 3:30 AM when sleepiness finally caught up with us. I couldn’t help but feel grateful for everything that happened today—the laughter, the fun, and the effort we put into welcoming the New Year. It was all worth it. I just wish every day could be this happy for everyone.
