Hello Hive friends! It's almost Christmas and we are all very busy attending and hosting Christmas parties. I will take you through our Christmas Party here in our school. The best thing about being a teacher is celebrating special occasions with your students. It is one way to build a good relationship with them and it strengthens unity and camaraderie. We celebrated our Christmas Party with my Grade 6 C Class Advisory. Here are my learners from Caduawan Elementary School.
Since we are joined to celebrate Christmas, we all decided to wear red. They all followed the prescribed costume color.
My students' parents and guardians helped me out with the foods and drinks we have today and we have a lot of generous parents pledged for some foods so we all gathered everything for everyone to share it with.
Before our games and program proper, we first had lunch. These are the foods we had during our Christmas Party.
We ordered foods from Jollibee also but since it arrived late and everyone is already hungry, we ate the foods we prepared. Everyone had a fair share of everything.
After having lunch we had the traditional Exchanging Gift but to make it more unique we played the Left And Right Exchanging Gift Game. My daughter @heyitsjian read the story. It was so much fun. Reading the story directs them to pass their gifts to the left or to the right.
After the Exchanging Gift we played some parlor games.
We had so much fun and we had different games that my learners participated into. They all were so cooperative so we enjoyed the games that I prepared for them. The winners had prizes. My learners were all so happy.
Games are much more fun during Christmas parties especially when everyone gladly participates. I love that my learners all joined the games I prepared for them.
After the games, I instructed them to fall in line because I will give them the presents I prepared for them. I prepared a small gift for everyone.A small, yet he artfully given. It is the thought that always counts.
Ever since I was a child, I really love the idea of giving gifts, but back then, I was the receiver. Now that life turned out to be a little bit better, now I am the giver and it feels so fulfilling being able to share our blessings with other people, and as a teacher, being able to share my blessings to my learners, it feels good to be able to give back in all little ways.
We were then told that the Jollibee mascot has already arrived. We went to the school quadrangle to see the Jollibee's performance.
Our school, Caduawan Elementary School located in Caduawan, Tabogon, Cebu has always been having the Jollibee mascot every Christmas party each year to perform and entertain our learners. We are used to this every year. This year, as usual, the learners had so much fun. We then returned to our classroom after the performance because they already distributed the foods we ordered from Jollibee, after sorting it I distributed it to my learners.
The staff from Jollibee came in our classroom and brought our orders. All my learners ordered their food and after sorting their orders, I distributed it to everyone and they happily ate it.
After having our snack, my learners then had their song presentation. They have been practising the song all week long.
With their red outfits, they matched it with their Santa hats and sang Christmas carols and joyfully sang all the Christmas songs they prepared. It was fun to see my learners united and brought together to celebrate Christmas.
It was such a fun and joyful day for everyone and we all had fun during our Christmas party. Merry Christmas everyone!
