Grandma's Girls

Happy Hump Day friends! Two more sleeps to go til the weekend, I can't wait to come home again. I would always look forward to spending time with my family and a few friends.

Speaking of family, I scrolled through my phone's gallery and I found photos of my grandmother.

I grew up with only a grandmother from my father's side. She's eighty-four now and she's been there with us since we were born. I'm twenty-three now and I'm my grandma's second grandchild. My sister is her first grandchild and she never fails to show her love and utmost care for us since we were young until now that we were already grown-ups.

I remember she would always buy our papers back then, especially when we got a perfect score in an exam and at every end of the school year when we will receive honours, she would reward us with stuff or cash. When we visit her at her home, she is generous enough to prepare our favourite snacks. Not to mention how a lifesaver she is when we went to the Uni. She would always secretly hand us with extra allowance.

Now that she's older, we seldomly bond with her as we are all busy with our lives. There's an instance when she was brought to the hospital. It became an avenue to bring all her kids together. everyone was glad that she was

Recently, my sister is the one who accompanied him to a check-up. And it just so happened that I was able to join them for lunch.
