They said that "The best drinks are those shared with friends".
In my previous blog post to this community, I discussed how my buddies and I tried something new. Last week, we tried to play in Arcade! But this week, we are back to our usual plans to eat or drink somewhere that we haven't tried before. So we decided to have a get-together again and try this mini bar booth that we saw.
This "Ounce Manila" cocktail bar is located on the second floor of the Kia Theatre and is difficult to spot from the road because it is hidden from view in Gateway Manila. It doesn't attract a lot of consumers because it's hard to find by outsiders. So, when we came in we were the only customers there. And anyway, this mini bar is al-fresco which is exactly what I want. I love to have some cocktail drinks while feeling the warm air of the city and since we were only customers that day, there was not a lot of noise in the surroundings, so we could freely talk about the things that we needed to talk about.
We also ordered a quesadilla which was really good, the taste was just right and perfect. The tomato salsa sauce and mayonnaise is a great combination and best to partner with our cocktail. Personally, I have a favorite for quesadillas and pizzas that's why this is the first thing that I ordered when I saw it on the menu list.
The place is also very aesthetic and romantic haha. So I think this place is best for friends to hang out and a perfect date place here in Metro. Since I said that this place is also hidden, you can have intimate talks with your partner.
One of my friends resides near this place, and she told us that she is always here in this area to read books in the morning or in the afternoon while drinking coffee which is the newly added drink on their menu since this place is quiet and peaceful. Due to that, she's already very close to the employees here. They are really good and accommodating to us.
After consuming all the cocktails and the quesadillas that we ordered, they got bored and decided to go to the nearest karaoke bar and continued our bonding there.
We paid 3 hours of rent for this mini karaoke room, and then we also ordered two buckets of apple beer with Sisig and Tokwa't Baboy. We really enjoyed our stay here and started to input a lot of songs, then we sang like we were really a singer lol, We were just literally singing and laughing here for the full three hours.
It's really true that the drinks are better when shared with friends, they just have like an extra flavor that adds up unlike when we are just drinking them alone. Strong friendships are forged via beer, jokes, and funny acts. So, when you are planning to have a drink, always keep in mind that drinking is more enjoyable when done with buddies.

It's amazing how a few hours with friends, delicious food, and drinks can turn into a memorable bonding. There's always something special about sharing drinks and good times with friends. I haven't tried Ounce Manila, thanks for this new find! matry nga rin minsan with friends
