We've been planning a family vacation since January, and we put it off for two months. Hehehe. The thing is, my husband had problems at work when it came to charging him the departure dates and therefore the payments, so about four times we were almost packed. However, the day finally arrived when we would take a break for the three of us together.

My husband stopped working last Wednesday. In my case, the semester was already over, so I had no commitments, and for my daughter, I got permission from her teacher for the days she would be absent.

We left Cabimas, our municipality of residence, on Friday night, bound for the city of Valencia in the state of Carabobo. We would stay at the home of my husband's relatives. The trip was super long on the express or bus, but I think the worst part was the cold on the way because we didn't have enough coats.

We arrived 12 hours after leaving the Cabimas terminal, but I was happy because what mattered was that we were on a family vacation, and it was already a reality 🎉.

Valencia is a city that's recovering. It has tourist attractions, shopping centers, beaches, and my husband has a lot of relatives here. This was the opportunity to stay at one of their houses without having to pay for lodging. They picked us up at the passenger terminal, and we headed off to rest.

All day we spent time with family, meeting cousins, some grandparents, eating delicious homemade food 🏠, having drinks, singing, dancing, and laughing. It was a nice start, in addition to the kindness of the family who welcomed us.

We're still around, continuing to share with wonderful people, discovering places, and creating beautiful memories of this long-awaited family vacation.

Desde el mes de enero estábamos planificando unas vacaciones familiares, y en ese plan nos llevamos dos meses de tanto suspenderlas, Jejeje, el caso es que mi esposo tuvo problemas en el trabajo a la hora de que le cargaran las fechas de salida y por ende los pagos, así que unas 4 veces quedamos casi con maletas listas, sin embargo por fin llegó el día que tomaríamos un descanso para los tres juntos.

Mi esposo dejo de trabajar el pasado miércoles, en mi caso ya terminó el semestre, así que no tenía compromisos y para mi hija conseguí un permiso con la maestra por los días que estaría ausente.

Salimos de Cabimas, nuestro municipio de residencia el viernes por la noche con destino a la ciudad de Valencia en el estado Carabobo. Nos quedaríamos en casa de familiares de mi esposo. El viaje fue súper largo en el expreso o bus, sin embargo creo que lo más fuerte fue el frío en el camino porque no llevamos buenos abrigos.

Llegamos 12 horas después de salir del terminal de Cabimas, pero feliz porque lo que importaba es que estábamos de vacaciones familiares y ya era un hecho 🎉.

Valencia es una ciudad que está en recuperación, tiene lugares turísticos, centros comerciales, playas, y aquí mi esposo tiene muchos familiares, esa era la oportunidad para llegar en casa de uno de ellos, sin tener que pagar hospedaje. Nos fueron a buscar en el terminal de pasajeros y emprendimos nuestro camino hacia el descanso.

Todo el día estuvimos compartiendo con la familia, conociendo a los primos, algunos abuelitos, comimos sabroso hecho en casa 🏠, nos tomamos unas bebidas, cantamos, bailamos reímos, fue un bonito comienzo ademas de la amabilidad de la familia que nos recibió.

Todavía estamos por estos lados, seguimos compartiendo con seres maravillosos, conociendo lugares, creando hermosos recuerdos de estas vacaciones familiares, más que esperadas.
