I this blog, I will share to you one of our shopping activities for very specific purpose. So, please come with me and I'll take you to Gaisano Bogo located at the City of Bogo, Cebu, Philippines. But first, I'll give you the reasons why we were there on that day. Let's start...
Delivering his Bible Reading Assignment
The Background Information
Let me rewind for just a day before it. It was Tuesday evening. We were at Gaisano Bogo to buy long-sleeved polo for my youngest 11-year old child with tie to be worn during the delivery of his assignment on the following day during our mid-week meeting at the Kingdom Hall.
But the problem we had then was the absence of my boy in the mall. He didn't come with us because he was with his friends enjoying games.
But my wife was sure she could get the right size of the clothes by just estimating it as what she had done a month ago.
I was quite reluctant at first when she chose one. But, I helped her estimate by looking at the length of the sleeves and the shoulder. Then, after several choices, we came up with the size that we believed would fit him.
Excitedly, we immediately called him upon arriving home, to let him wear it to determine if it would fit. Then, it really did! It really fitted him. What a sigh of relief for both of us!
The Clothes Section
We stayed here for almost 30 minutes to thoroughly choose which one fits him and at the same time cool to the eyes of the onlookers.
Let me go back to the mall to share to you the experiences we had in the different sections.
The Shoes and Sandals Section
The Cabinets or Furniture Section
The Artificial Plants along the aisle
The Cosmetics Section
These are just some of the sections I got photos during our shopping time. I enjoyed seeing the different cabinets, kitchen sinks and even the artificial plants that looked like the real ones. All the other sections we visited were for women's shoes and sandals, dresses, etc.
A Glimpse of the Outside and the surrounding
Looking straight ahead when you're at the exit of the mall in the lobby, you can immediately see Mang Inasal across P. Rodriguez Street, where you can enjoy the roasted chicken with rice and cool delights.
When you turn left immediately while you're still in the lobby, there you can see Jollibee- just a glass wall away from the entrance of the mall. You don't need to cross the street for a lunch or dinner.
But, if you need to buy medicine, you have to turn right where you can immediately find Rose Pharmacy just a glass wall away from the Exit door.
If you've decided to turn left, and you would not enter Jolibee, if you go straight ahead to the parking area, you can see R and F Pharmacy across the street in line with Capitancillo Cafe and Restaurant to the left again. So now, you're precisely in the Parking Area.

The Realization
Estimating sizes of clothes to our own children wouldn't be a great challenge if we know them better. Sometimes our previous purchases can be used as basis or a little bit bigger than it, as you may decide.
So, as parents, we have to be their provider of their needs -such as physical, emotional, social and spiritual, etc. We have to be their best friends or the persons behind them who know them better than any other persons in the world.

Buying clothes without the presence of the one who will wear them is not easy. It is not easy. It's good it fits him.
