Good evening, everyone!! I hope you all are happy today. I would like to greet a happy teacher's day to those teachers out there reading this. I want you to know that your existence is very appreciated and loved by many. I hope that you won't give up and continue to teach us.
Today, I want to share with you the preparations we made and how we surprised our teacher. This isn't really costly but we put effort to this event and made it from the bottom of our hearts.
Yesterday, we decided that each one of us needs to write a 1 sentence message for ma'am and compose a song out of it. I was surprised of the talents of my classmates, because they were able to made to song within just three hours. For me, it's actually pretty impressive.
After making the song, we made use of the letters and design it around ma'am's printed face. I don't have the final picture of this though, but I hope this idea inspire you to do the same with your teachers day party.
As time passes, we also decided to buy ingredients because we are planning to make spaghetti. While planing this, we came up a fun idea to prank our teacher with the letchon prank (letchon is a traditional food in Philippines it's also known as roasted pig). This prank is simply wrapping the spaghetti and other gifts with a manila paper while forming it like a pig and then wrapped it again with cardboard.
We also made a improvised trampoline for ma'am to make it more like a party. Our theme is hello kitty, so each one of us was wearing a cute printed hello kitty face.
And tadaa!! This is the final results of our work.
Two of our classmates decided to get ma'am and blindfolded her to our room. When she arrives, the boys then each gives their flowers to ma'am and dance her in the center.

After that, we sang the song that was made by our classmates through our letters.
As the song was about to end, our mayor has crazy idea that we should sing and dance infront of ma'am. The song was entitled "In this moment" by Alison Yap. This song was every familiar to us since this is the song we performed during our grade 10 moving up. Because it was sudden decision for me, I just hoped that I still remembered the steps and the lyrics of the song. They said "just executed the thing you remembered" though I stayed in the back so that it's not noticable that we didn't plan this since we didn't practice this part. I was okay halfway through the song, but when the person infront of me move to the side, ma'am's her camera was basically straight to my direction so it made me nervous and mess up my moves (I look hilarious that time not gonna lie).

And for the grand finale, we made ma'am cut the letchon. It was really fun to see ma'am reaction and we made sure to clap and say yayy! In every gift or tupperware she opened. I don't know why but after she opened all the things need to be opened, one of our classmates started singing happy birthday and we all go along with it. But still I can say that this event was successful.

Teachers effort are mostly unrecognized, so it's really meant everything to them if we appreciate them and especially when we respect them. To those teachers out there I hope that this blog enlightened your spirits even just a little bit. I can't imagine the future if we don't have a teacher like you whose willing to give your all to teach and make a change for the future generations.
