Compilation: My Friendly Dates w/ These Three Amazing People

Dear Gentle Readers,

It’s been 18 days since I last posted a blog, and for that, I sincerely apologize. I wouldn’t want anyone to be left hanging; that’s why, for today, I’m keeping you guys posted!

Howdy! Howdy! Hello there, HIVers! What’s up? Has anything happened while I wasn’t here? We’re already in the month of June, and the rainy season is here. Vacations are here! It might be a cosy vacation since mostly it rains. Nonetheless, nothing beats the feeling of a vacation where we can spend time with the people we love the most. Say goodbye to hectic schedules; say hello to spontaneous trips and simple dates with our friends and family.

For today’s blog, I’m going to talk about the simple dates I have with my closest friends. Now that the school year has ended, I have most of my time dedicated to dates and trips with them. Before I spend my vacation with my family, I really spend it with my friends. Enjoy reading!

These three warm beings I mentioned are my friends. Every single one of them has a different type of date. I can really assess since I experienced having a date with the three of them individually. Now, let me share the type of friendly dates I had with them.

#1 Althea

Nicknames: Sunbhienim, Bhie, Thea, Al

Althea prefers comfy dates, mostly food dates. Last week, we had a cosy date; the rain actually poured that day while we were at school. We waited for the rain to stop before going to the Country Mall near our school. In the morning, I already told her that we would have a date since I wanted to, yet the rain surprised us. That’s why we settled on going to A Little Tea and would spend some time there.

Also, a fact: Althea loves to treat others. She treated me to blueberry yoghurt that day, and I’m really happy. That really made me feel so loved! After giving our orders, we chose a seat and had a chat.

We watched an episode of her second favourite series while having our respective drinks. The episode ended, yet the fun was still ongoing. I decided we would take a video of ourselves and take pictures. Here’s what we did: We recorded ourselves and gave a message to our future romantic partners. Hahahahaha! Actually, that was kind of fun and funny at the same time.

After that, we decided to go home. The date was really uplifting and simply fun in its own way. That’s my date with my friend, Althea.

#2 Akira

Nicknames: Kira, Babe, Hev Aki

Akira likes extreme dates—well, not totally extreme; she just wants something hardcore. She’s that girl who enjoys doing crazy stuff, so yeah, maybe that’s why. Last week also, we had our date. The day after, I had a date with Althea.
She told me we'd go together to the gym. We woke up early and saw each other on the 7th in the morning. The gym is just walking distance from her house, so we decided to walk to the gym.

When we arrived at the gym, we put our things in the locker and changed into our gym outfit. After that, we started on the treadmill for 5 minutes. as a warmup, then we lifted weights. Things went smoothly; we did chest-firm exercises and tried the equipment there. We had a gym coach as our guide during the session, so we had so much fun!

The gym session lasted for an hour and a half, then we rested for 40 minutes before going to the shower. Everything ended on a good note at the gym. It was fun lifting my brain, and my mind really gets challenged while I’m there.
We then bought our snacks at the 7-11 convenience store and ate hotdogs. It was simple yet extreme. But our date didn’t end there.

Akira was so sponti and decided to go to the SM Mall and go to an arcade.
We went to the arcade, rode some cars and motorbikes, played shooting games, and played basketball. It felt as if we're just kids doing our playtime in the nursery. We collected 20 tickets! Overall, the date with Akira required so much strength from the feet. I had fun!

#3 Jai
Nicknames: Jhai, Jill, and Beb

Jhai prefers random dates; honestly, we just let our feet lead the way. We go to a jeepney bus undecided about where to go, yet we do so many random things in a day. That’s her type of date! A simple stroll around the park, talk about the funniest moments in our lives, and laugh it all out. There's this one time where we went to I.T. park, and we stroll around the park.

Here are the things we did back then: First, we bought avocado drinks. Then, we did some window shopping, which was really fun! So fun and just cute. We searched for clothes for our future kids. Next, we did go to the park and sit there to just talk, but then we got hungry, so we bought snacks at the grocery store, only to find out that there was a free photo booth! We took our picture and claimed our photos!

Also, the random thing that happened to us was that we just talked and talked until we reached the Waterfront Hotel just across the I.T. park. We met friendly people there on our stroll, which is fun! With Jhai, I really had to walk, yet the hours spent were really worth it. Jhai is just so smooth to be around.

Friendships for me, they're like promises. Untold promises for each other. I'm really committed to the people I choose as my friends. My friends are the same circle with my intermediate family. That's why I keep it small yet secure.

These three warm people are my chosen people. I'm beyond grateful to call them my friends. Cheers to this friendship! I dedicate this blog to them, and I had fun writing this one, I hope everyone did enjoy reading it as well.
