HOW DID WE HAVE AN UNEXPECTED BONDING?
So before we get there, my friend Princess (who was wearing a purple top) and I made plans for our outing that day, but we didn't tell Maria (who was wearing a long sleeve) because, as some people say, if an outing is planned, it’s bound not to happen.
HOW DID IT ACTUALLY HAPPEN?
After school, I was able to convince Maria to join us since it was our first time hanging out as a group of three. Luckily, she agreed and asked her boyfriend for permission, and he also agreed. After that, we looked for a ride and eventually made it there.

When we arrived at the place, we immediately asked if there were any available rooms in the KTV, and fortunately, there was. We also bought some food, alcohol, and coke. Anyway, the place we went to was 7H, which has KTV rooms downstairs and many tables upstairs with free videoke. It is located in Upland, Danao City, and it’s easy to spot because it's right across from the road.
After we got inside the KTV and put our things down, we took a picture. Anyway, the three of us love taking pictures everywhere because we want to keep them not just for documentation, but for memories.
After that, we sang karaoke and just talked. What made our bonding even better was that we unexpectedly ended up talking about our love lives, where each of us is in a healthy relationship, still in love with an ex, or just casually enjoying things with no labels. As we started drinking, we became emotional because of the things that happened in our lives. But deep inside, it felt so happy because it's rare for us to talk about things like that.
As we started getting emotional, I planned for us to just listen to music and enjoy because what we came there was to have fun, not to be sad. So, I asked them to sing "Dancing Queen," and we started singing and dancing. Even though it was just the three of us, we were so happy atleast our friendship was real and true.
We also decided to make a TikTok because we've been planning to do it for so long but never got the chance because of all the exams and projects. So now, since we finally have the time, we took the opportunity to make it happen.
We were having so much fun that we didn't even realize we were almost out of drinks, so we decided to buy more since this doesn’t happen often. We continued chatting, joking around, teasing each other, and of course, sharing stories about our pet peeves—just kidding. We were so happy, and we really cherished the time we spent together because we knew that there would come a day when our communication wouldn't be as frequent due to being busy with academics. Anyway, I was the only one who wasn't their classmate, but our bond is still so strong and full of joy.
WHAT'S THE TWIST IN OUR WONDERFULLY BONDING??!!
Fast forward to when we were heading home, I suddenly got a message asking if we brought the microphone with us. I told them no, and we didn’t know anything about it. They replied that we were the last ones to use it at the KTV. I still insisted that we didn’t know, and then I asked my friends about it. Suddenly, Maria sent a picture of herself holding the microphone. She asked, "Why is this in my bag? Who put it here?" The three of us had no idea, so I just apologized and told them we’d return it the next day since Maria lives in Carmen, Cebu. And that’s one of the reasons why our outing became even more unforgettable.
Looking back on that day, it was more than just a simple outing—it was an unforgettable experience that brought us closer together. Despite the unexpected twist with the microphone, the laughter, heartfelt conversations, and spontaneous moments we shared made it so special. We truly cherished the time spent with each other, knowing that these memories would last even when life gets busy. It’s moments like these that remind me how valuable real friendship is, and how these simple adventures will forever be etched in our hearts. Here's to more unforgettable memories with my besties!
