Cualquiera podría decir que tres días de torneo, con jornadas que inician desde las 9 am y finalizan a las 6 pm, son una especie de tortura, y la verdad es que cuando Matías tuvo su primer torneo que duró dos días, yo pensaba lo mismo, y desde ese momento, al día de hoy, las cosas han cambiado un montón, y no les voy a mentir diciendo que no es agotador, porque en el día tres del último torneo la cara de agotamiento de los padres que se quedaban la jornada completa y de los wue iban y venían entre cada ronda, era todo un poema.
El cansancio y el desgaste físico de tantas horas acumuladas se podía notar, pero sin lugar a dudas hay una diferencia enorme entre ese primer torneo que me pareció una tortura, a los últimos torneos, y esa diferencia la hacen mis amigas, y es que hace un buen tiempo, logramos hacer un muy lindo equipo, aunque una se nos fue un poco lejos, pero las que seguimos aquí hacemos que esos días sean realmente geniales a pesar que terminamos muertas de cansancio.
El último día del torneo solo se jugarían dos rondas, una a las 9 am y la otra a la 1 pm, y de casa, esta vez nos fuimos los cuatro, ya que por temas de salud de Miranda, no había podido ser así, pero para ese día ya estaba muchisimo mejor y nos fuimos todos, y decidimos quedarnos hasta las premiaciones, así que terminamos saliendo a la misma hora de los días anteriores 🤣
Al terminar más temprano, tuvimos un poco más de tiempo para compartir, Clau, Jesy, Nohelia y yo, incluidos nuestros hijos y esposos, cosa que no hacemos siempre, pero estamos decididas a planificar una salida las tres familias porque definitivamente hace falta.
Y volviendo al torneo, como les comenté en el post del día 1, para Matías estaría muy complicado pues le correspondía por su edad en la categoría Open donde estaban participando ajedrecistas de nivel internacional, y maestros del ajedrez, pero aún así se decidió a participar porque la experiencia vale oro, de hecho no sólo fue un aprendizaje para él, sino que fue una oportunidad para socializar con sus compañeros del ajedrez cosa que a él siempre le ha costado, pero entre la cantidad de tiempo libre entre ronda y ronda, y la mesa de pool que tenían disponible, la oportunidad se aprovechó y disfrutó un montón, incluso de la piscina del hotel, así que fue un ganar para todos.
¿Fue un fin de semana agotar? SIIII, pero también fue un fin de semana de experiencias nuevas, de compartir con amigos y pasarla súper bien, y si no me creen miren esas fotitos.

The last day of the tournament only two rounds would be played, one at 9 am and the other at 1 pm, and from home, this time the four of us left, since due to Miranda's health issues, it had not been possible, but by that day she was already much better and we all left, and we decided to stay until the awards, so we ended up leaving at the same time of the previous days 🤣
After finishing earlier, we had a little more time to share, Clau, Jesy, Nohelia and I, including our children and husbands, which we do not always do, but we are determined to plan an outing for the three families because it is definitely needed.
And returning to the tournament, as I told you in the post of day 1, for Matias it would be very complicated because it corresponded to his age in the Open category where international chess players and chess masters were participating, but even so he decided to participate because the experience is worth gold, in fact it was not only a learning experience for him, but it was an opportunity to socialize with his family and friends, but it was also an opportunity to socialize with his fellow chess players, something that he has always found difficult, but between the amount of free time between rounds, and the pool table they had available, he took advantage of the opportunity and enjoyed a lot, even the hotel pool, so it was a win-win for everyone.
Was it a sold out weekend? Yes, but it was also a weekend of new experiences, of sharing with friends and having a great time, and if you don't believe me look at those pictures.

Como dicen por aquí, lo importante es participar Ami, aunque sumar la experiencia es mucho más provechoso para Matías, aprender de gente con mucha más experiencia. Y bueno ustedes ya tienen un bonito grupo de amistades, que hacen de esos torneos menos tediosos en la espera, y definitivamente se disfrutaron el encuentro en el hotel con piscina y todo, Jejeje.
