The Journey to Catmon
Last December 2023, my friends and I planned a year-end party at Heramiz Beach Park & Resort in Catmon. But, we didn’t have service transportation because one of our friend’s fathers, who usually helps us with a ride, was busy that day. Despite this, we didn’t let it stop us. Four of us decided to commute, while the others rode motorcycles. Even during the commute, we shared a lot of laughs. The excitement kept us in high spirits, making the trip enjoyable and memorable. Traveling by bus was a unique experience. We talked, joked, and shared snacks along the way. The anticipation of reaching the resort kept our energy up, and even when the ride felt long, we didn’t mind because we were together. Our friends on motorcycles occasionally stopped to check on us, showing how much we cared for one another.
A Warm Welcome by Nature
When we arrived at the resort, the beauty of the place amazed us. The sea breeze and the stunning view of nature felt so refreshing, almost as if it was welcoming us to have fun and relax. The moment we stepped in, it felt like the perfect place to celebrate. We couldn’t wait to start the party and create wonderful memories together. The resort had a peaceful and inviting vibe. The green trees, soft sand, and clear water made it feel like a hidden paradise. We took a moment to soak in the scenery, grateful for the chance to enjoy such a beautiful place.
Fun in the Water
We didn’t waste time and headed straight to the swimming area. For safety, we rented life jackets, and then the real fun began. Swimming and playing in the water with my friends was a fantastic experience. The laughter and joy we shared made it even more special. The waves, the clear water, and the sound of nature all added to the moment, making it unforgettable.
Some of us challenged each other to small games, like who could stay afloat the longest or swim the fastest. These little competitions made our swimming time even more entertaining. The cool water under the warm sun felt like pure bliss.
Sharing Food and Stories
After swimming, we gathered for lunch. Each of us brought food to share, and it turned into a mini feast. We laughed over funny stories from the past year and made new plans for the future parties haha. The food tasted even better because we were enjoying it together. Eating by the sea and together with my friends, and with the waves also gently crashing in the background, was an experience I’ll never forget. It reminded me of how simple moments like these bring so much happiness.
Capturing Memories
In the night, we prepared to head back home. While waiting for the bus, we took several photos to remember the amazing time we had. The night air was calm, and we enjoyed chatting and reliving the best moments of the day. Taking those pictures was our way of keeping the memories alive, and it felt like the perfect way to end such a wonderful celebration. Some photos captured our silliest poses hahaha, while others showed the genuine smiles we had throughout the day. These pictures became priceless reminders of a day filled with joy.
A Special Bond
Spending a day like this with friends showed me how important it is to have these moments. It wasn’t just about the place; it was the company that made everything worthwhile. Whether it was commuting together, laughing over little things, or enjoying the water, the bond we shared made the day truly unforgettable.
Final Thoughts
That year-end party at Heramiz Beach Park & Resort was more than just a trip, it was a celebration of friendship and togetherness. Even though we faced some challenges, like not having proper transportation, the fun we had made up for everything. It reminded me that happiness isn’t about perfect plans, it’s about enjoying the moment with the people who matter most. Looking back, I can say that it was one of the best days of my life, and I’m grateful for the experience. It was a day filled with laughter, joy, and memories that I will cherish forever.
