On December 6, 2024, my friends and I went to Kilpardz Beach in Medellin, Cebu. We planned this trip weeks ahead to make sure everything was prepared. It was a chance for us to relax and enjoy each other’s company after a long time of being busy with school and other responsibilities. Everyone was so excited, and we couldn’t wait to spend the day at the beach. We talked about what we would do and made a list of activities we didn’t want to miss. Each of us contributed something to make the trip smooth, like food, games, and supplies. This trip wasn’t just about fun, it was about creating memories we would always treasure.
Our Ride to Medellin
We had a service vehicle, and the father of one of our friends volunteered to drive us there. This made the trip even better because we didn’t have to worry about public transportation or delays. On our way to Medellin, we sang songs, shared jokes, and took a lot of photos. The air was filled with excitement as everyone laughed and talked about their favorite road trip memories. Some of us even prepared snacks to share during the ride, which added to the fun. Every stop along the way gave us time to stretch and take more pictures. By the time we got closer to our destination, it felt like the adventure had already begun.
Arriving at Kilpardz Beach
When we arrived at Kilpardz Beach, we were amazed by how beautiful the place was. The sand was soft, the water was clear, and the air was fresh. It was exactly what we needed to escape from the stress of city life. Everyone quickly unpacked their things, and we found a nice spot to settle down. We couldn’t help but admire the beauty of the beach as the sun shone brightly over the ocean. Some of us decided to walk along the shore to feel the cool breeze and soft sand under our feet. The peaceful atmosphere made us feel like we had entered a dreamland.
A Delicious Lunch by the Sea
After setting up our spot, we prepared our lunch. We brought homemade food pancit, rice, and lumpia. Eating by the sea made everything taste better. Everyone brought their favorite dishes, which turned our lunch into a mini feast. The sound of the waves and the gentle sea breeze added to the enjoyment. We all sat together, sharing food and talking about the funny moments from our trip so far. It was a simple yet special moment that reminded us how good life can be with the right people around us.
Swimming and Playing in the Water
After lunch, it was time to swim! The water was cool and refreshing, perfect for a sunny day. We brought an airbed, and instead of just lying on it, we used it as a boat. It was hilarious trying to balance on it without falling into the water. We took turns racing each other on the airbed, which made everyone laugh nonstop. Some of us played games like volleyball in the shallow water, while others simply floated and enjoyed the moment. The energy and happiness we felt made the day unforgettable.
Moments We Will Never Forget
As the day went on, we took lots of pictures to remember the fun moments. Some of us played mobile legends 5v5, while others enjoyed relaxing under the shade of the trees. The laughter, the bonding, and the peaceful vibe of the beach made the day perfect. We wrote our names in the sand and watched as the waves gently washed them away and yes we really do that hahhahahha. It was a small but meaningful activity that added to the joy of the day. As the sun started to set, we gathered around and shared stories about our dreams and goals. It's how do to made us feel even closer as friends.
A Stop at the Bamboo Forest
The next day, December 7, as we headed home, we decided to stop at a bamboo forest. The view was breathtaking, with tall green bamboo trees swaying gently in the wind. We took lots of pictures, capturing the peaceful beauty of the place. Walking through the forest felt like being in a magical world, surrounded by nature’s calmness. We also found a small clearing where we could sit and rest for a while. The sound of the wind passing through the bamboo made the experience even more relaxing. It was a perfect way to end our trip on a peaceful note.
A Day Well-Spent with Friends
This trip to Kilpardz Beach reminded me how important it is to take a break and spend time with the people who matter to us. Life can get busy, but moments like this are what make everything worth it. It was a simple day, but it meant so much to all of us. These memories will stay with us forever, reminding us of the joy of friendship. I hope we can have more adventures like this in the future. Moments like these make me grateful for the people I have in my life. Spending time with them truly makes life brighter and better.
