Hello friends, I hope you are very well. Today I want to share with you how I celebrated February 14th, the day of love and friendship. For me, there is no better way to celebrate it than with my greatest love: my son, Abraham David. He is my friend, my prince, my everything.
The day started early, waking me up at 6:30 am. After doing my business, I grabbed my cell phone and sent nice messages to my closest friends, especially Stella Martinez, who has been an excellent friend.
After showering and getting ready, I rode my bike to the gym. When I arrived, I saw my classmates organizing a tizana, which excited me because I love it. We all pooled our money together, and one of the girls quickly went out to buy the fruit, glasses, ice and everything else we needed. An hour later, she came back with the materials, and together with my partner Diana, we started cutting the fruits and preparing the tizana. We had some small problems with the water and the stirring spoon, but in the end we solved them and managed to make it. It turned out delicious.
Hola, amigos, espero que estén muy bien. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes cómo celebré el 14 de febrero, el día del amor y la amistad. Para mí, no hay mejor manera de festejarlo que al lado de mi mayor amor: mi hijo, Abraham David. Él es mi amigo, mi príncipe, mi todo.
El día comenzó temprano, despertándome a las 6:30 a.m. Después de hacer mis cosas, tomé el celular y envié mensajes bonitos a mis amigos más cercanos, en especial a Stella Martínez, quien ha sido una excelente amiga.
Luego de bañarme y alistarme, fui en bicicleta al gimnasio. Al llegar, vi a mis compañeras organizando una tizana, lo cual me emocionó porque me encanta. Entre todos reunimos dinero, y una de las chicas salió rápidamente a comprar las frutas, vasos, hielo y todo lo necesario. Una hora después, regresó con los materiales, y junto a mi compañera Diana, nos pusimos a cortar las frutas y preparar la tizana. Tuvimos algunos pequeños inconvenientes con el agua y el cucharón para revolver, pero al final los resolvimos y logramos hacerla. Quedó deliciosa.

Later, at 12:30 p.m., I invited my son to have lunch at a recently opened Chinese food restaurant that I was looking forward to visiting. When we arrived, we were surprised by the beauty of the place. My son's attention was drawn to a large fish tank full of fish, and he kept looking at them. While I was observing the place, I recognized some of the girls who work at “El Castillo Tu Centro Textil”, where I worked for two years. We greeted each other warmly. I also ran into a former high school classmate whom I had not seen since 2007, and it was very nice to meet again.
The service at the restaurant was excellent and fast. When the food arrived, we were impressed with the amount of food served; it was too much for the two of us. We were so full that we could not finish it, so we asked them to pack it for us to take away.
Más tarde, a las 12:30 p.m., invité a mi hijo a almorzar en un restaurante de comida china que recientemente inauguraron y que tenía muchas ganas de conocer. Al llegar, nos sorprendió lo bonito del lugar. A mi hijo le llamó mucho la atención una gran pecera llena de peces, y no dejaba de mirarlos. Mientras observaba el lugar, reconocí a algunas chicas que trabajan en "El Castillo Tu Centro Textil", donde laboré por dos años. Nos saludamos con cariño. También me encontré con una excompañera del liceo a quien no veía desde 2007, y fue muy lindo reencontrarnos.
La atención en el restaurante fue excelente y rápida. Cuando llegó la comida, nos impresionamos con la cantidad de comida servida; era demasiado para nosotros dos. Quedamos tan llenos que no pudimos terminarla, así que pedimos que nos la empacaran para llevar.

After lunch, since we were close by, we decided to walk to the Galerias Mall. We visited the recently inaugurated ice rink and also went through the amusement park located at the top of the mall.
To close this beautiful day, at about 4:30 p.m., we biked to an ice cream shop close to home. We locked our bikes and enjoyed a nice ice cream together.

Después de comer, como estábamos cerca, decidimos caminar hasta el centro comercial Galerías Mall. Visitamos la pista de hielo recién inaugurada y también pasamos por el parque de diversiones ubicado en la parte superior del centro comercial.
Para cerrar este hermoso día, a eso de las 4:30 p.m., fuimos en bicicleta a una heladería cercana a casa. Aseguramos bien las bicicletas con candado y disfrutamos de un rico helado juntos.
Así celebré el Día del Amor y la Amistad junto a mi hijo, Abraham David. Espero que ustedes también hayan pasado un día maravilloso.
