We chatted for a few minutes before he thought of going home because he still had things to do at their house, but before he left, he invited me to swim in the sea while I'm still here in the province so we could have a prolonged chat and also spend some bonding time together since it has been quite some time since we last had the opportunity to do so.
I think the last time we swam together in the sea was when we were still studying in high school, and back then, we were accompanied by some of our male classmates. I told him that I would need to think about what he said and get permission from my partner first. Once my friend had departed, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I thought it wouldn't hurt to have some fun once in a while, especially since I rarely join my friends' outings anymore, especially now that I have my own family.
To avoid getting scolded by my partner, I immediately talked to her about the plans my childhood friend and I had. I thought she might object, but fortunately, she allowed me, although not without a myriad of reminders. When I learned of my partner's response, I couldn't help but feel pleased because she didn't oppose my plans.
When I saw my childhood friend again, I told him I'd join the swim and asked when our outing would take place. He replied that it would be tomorrow after we've taken care of all our household chores. He also mentioned that he would invite some other acquaintances to make our outing even more enjoyable. I agreed to his plan and couldn't help but think about what would happen tomorrow.
While waiting for the right time for our departure, I took a moment to rest on our small hammock. I took out my phone and got engrossed in what I was watching, not realizing that our youngest sibling was approaching, telling me to go visit our childhood friend so we could leave soon. So, I prepared my things for our bathing session and bid farewell to our parents, informing them that we were leaving for our beach outing. After bidding goodbye, we went to see our childhood friend, and luckily, they were ready by the time we arrived at their place.
Since there were a lot of us going to the beach, we used four motorcycles just to accommodate everyone who wanted to come along. We also discussed which sea we would swim in, and after deciding where we'd swim, we decided to leave and meet at the agreed place.
If you're wondering about our bathing spot, we decided to go to Maravilla Public Beach Resort in Tabuelan, a well-known destination among tourists.
We picked it for its stunning location, pristine white sand, and the fact that there's no entrance fee, although you'll need to pay for parking if you bring a car or vehicle. Additionally, you have the option to rent a cottage for accommodation if desired.
In summary, even without money,you can still swim for free, aside from the reasons I mentioned. We selected this bathing spot because not only is the sea water beautiful and clean, but the scenery is also breathtaking, especially during sunset, making it perfect for photography.
Once we reached the shore, we wasted no time and immediately plunged into the refreshing water.
After eating, we immediately returned to swimming and made the most of our time in the sea. As the sun began to set, we decided to head home to avoid being out late. It's amusing that even in such a short time, we made so many wonderful memories.

Greetings, fellow Hivers! In this blog post, I'll recount my recent brief getaway to our province.
Given the infrequency of my visits to my hometown, I really seize every opportunity to make the most of my time there when I return home. So when my childhood friend, who is also our neighbor, went to our house to buy from our small grocery store, we had a brief catch-up, and later on, we discussed the events in our lives, the people around us, and in our area while I was away.
When morning came the next day, I immediately attended to the tasks my mother left for me to do for the day. After finishing, I had my breakfast and then prepared my things for our upcoming trip to the beach later in the afternoon.
I suddenly miss our whole family reunion in Maravilla beach! 🥹🌊 Good thing you're able to visit there again couz!
Yeah couz @jeannmazing , this short vacation has been wonderful. It's refreshing to take a dip in the ocean and briefly escape from life's worries. Hopefully, next time I visit the beach, you and our entire family can join me.
