Greetings to all my dear hive Enthusiast family of this community; I hope you are spending the last days of the year 2022 in the best possible way. Today I will share with you a very special diary, as preparations are being made to celebrate the last day of the year.

Este día me levanté muy temprano para poder hacer todo lo que teníamos planificado por realizar; a las ocho de la mañana ya estaba lista para poder salir con mi mamá y hacer las compras para la cena familiar del 31 de diciembre. Desayuné una hallaca que había guardado en secreto del día anterior.
This day I got up very early to be able to do everything we had planned to do; at eight o'clock in the morning I was ready to go out with my mother and do the shopping for the family dinner on 31 December. I had a hallaca for breakfast that I had kept secret from the day before.

Luego de tener mi desayuno, en compañía de mi mamá y mi abuela, fuimos dispuestas a visitar a una tía que se irá del país para acompañar y ayudar a sus hijos en Uruguay; esta sería la última vez que mi abuela vería a su sobrina en mucho tiempo, por lo que significó un acontecimiento bastante conmovedor. Sin embargo, gracias a Dios, mi abuela pudo reunirse con ella (lo que más deseaba) y tuvimos una linda visita en su casa durante un largo rato.
After having my breakfast, in the company of my mother and grandmother, we were ready to visit an aunt who will be leaving the country to accompany and help her children in Uruguay; this would be the last time my grandmother would see her niece for a long time, so it was quite a moving event. However, thank God, my grandmother was able to be reunited with her (what she wanted most) and we had a nice visit in her house for a long time.

Después de salir de su casa, nos dirigimos directamente a un supermercado cercano, donde compraríamos los ingredientes para la cena de fin de año; fue una compra amena, donde mi abuela se tomó su tiempo para elegir los implementos adecuados.
After leaving her house, we headed straight to a nearby supermarket, where we would buy the ingredients for the New Year's Eve dinner; it was a pleasant shopping trip, where my grandmother took her time to choose the right items.

De esta salida, afortunadamente, me regalaron unos deliciosos duraznos que degusté con muchas ganas.
Fortunately, I was given some delicious peaches from this outing, which I enjoyed with great pleasure.

Después de hacer estas actividades, fuimos a casa, en la que mi mamá preparó el almuerzo; carne con pasta corta y salsa de tomate. Muy rico.
After doing these activities, we went home, where my mum prepared lunch; meat with short pasta and tomato sauce. Very tasty.

Descansamos un rato de la salida y el almuerzo. Después, alrededor de las tres de la tarde, se nos ocurrió que, con lo último que quedaba de mis ahorros decembrinos, aprovechara de comprar las magníficas botas que deseaba para tener una prenda bonita que estrenar el último día del año. Hacía mucho tiempo que no me compraba zapatos, así que la idea me emocionó muchísimo; mi mamá me acompañó a ir al centro de mi pueblo, en el que, por las fechas de fiesta, había un montón de personas queriendo comprar sus cosas para diciembre también.
We rested for a while from the outing and lunch. Then, around three o'clock in the afternoon, it occurred to us that, with the last of my Christmas savings, I should take the opportunity to buy the magnificent boots I wanted so that I would have a nice piece of clothing to wear on the last day of the year. It had been a long time since I had bought shoes, so I was very excited about the idea; my mum accompanied me to the centre of my town, where, because of the festive season, there were a lot of people wanting to buy their things for December as well.

Sin embargo, con la suerte de nuestro lado, la luz se fue y, como el punto de venta no funcionaba, mi mamá hizo un pago móvil y ¡listo! Sin hacer fila durante largo rato, pude tener mis zapatos de la forma más cómoda posible.
However, with luck on our side, the power went out and, as the point of sale was not working, my mum made a mobile payment and that was it! Without queuing for a long time, I was able to get my shoes in the most comfortable way possible.
Muy feliz de haber hecho esta compra, me tomé algunas fotos en mi árbol navideño, ya que las anteriores fueron tomadas en la casa de mi abuela. Sin embargo, en las fotos no salen los zapatos porque serán una sorpresa para el 31 de diciembre.
Very happy to have made this purchase, I took some pictures on my Christmas tree, as the previous ones were taken at my grandmother's house. However, the shoes are not in the photos because they will be a surprise for the 31st of December.

Para finalizar el activo día, descansé y me dediqué a trabajar en mi novela, en la que he estado muy activa gracias a las vacaciones y la inspiración que últimamente me ha invadido.
To end the active day, I rested and worked on my novel, on which I have been very active thanks to the holidays and the inspiration that has been coming to me lately.
