Hello everyone, it's me again, @yannarose, back at it again with another blog.
Friendship has always been a vital part of being a human being. Well, that's it for me. As I have always been an extrovert who loves to socialize a lot, making friends is a special part of me. Throughout my journey I met a lot of people, I made a lot of friends, and I made a lot of memories with them. In this blog I'm going to be introducing to you the special people in my life, the ones who made a big impact on my journey, and showing you a glimpse of our moments together. Now buckle up and enjoy seeing a glimpse into my world.
But before I start this blog, I would love to welcome you to my little corner of the internet.
Entering college has never been easy; as a first-year student, you have to meet new faces and adjust to a new environment. You have to overcome these obstacles all by yourself. Yet on this journey I've come to meet the people I didn't expect to be a big part of my life, helping me to overcome the obstacle of being a first-year student.
Meet my trio; this is Shann and Diana, my ride-or-die besties, my frenemies. The three of us differ in so many ways. Yet we bond so strongly as if we're glued together. They are the unexpected friendships I made this year. It's funny how we became so close despite our differences. Our bond is something I will cherish forever.
This is Shann my big sister at school, the mother figure of the circle. My TikTok buddy. I and Shann love to tease each other a lot, but despite that is someone who I can talk to about life often, as she is the mature one in the group. She is a listener, she listens to my rants, my stories, my issues in life and my chikas. She always comforts me with her presence. As someone who struggles mentally, meeting a friend like her is a big blessing for me. Our esthetics are completely different, she's a gothic girly, and I'm a casual girly who loves to wear light colors. Real difference, right? She is also my make-up buddy.
Now this is Diana, my cousin. My big frenemy at school. She is probably the baby of the group because she is so hardheaded. The softy one who doesn't know how to stand for herself, that's why we always take care of her. This girl is sunshine, she laughs a lot. She at the lamest joke you can give. That's how she comforts people. Though I hate the fact that she's so guilty that sometimes people hurt her because of that. She's someone that you want to take care of.
What's between the three of us is so special for me that everything we shared will be forever cherished by me. Friendship is a deep connection woven with unexpectedness. Who would have thought that the three of us would become so close? The year 2024 I struggled a lot, academically, physically, mentally and even spiritually, but having the right friends helps you to continue life again with hope.
