Hello friends of Family & Friends, I would like to return to this community from the preparation of this week's literary workshop, an experience that, although not unique, becomes more and more exciting.
This week we fulfilled the task of setting up the literary workshop, which good friends do; it is an experience that, if undertaken from a work perspective, brings together good friends who come to celebrate another day of songs, verses, stories and other tales.
Each of the actors who had been invited to the space took their positions. We began to work on each of them taking on a different role: arranging the tables and chairs, composing the books that were going to be read, displaying the banners that had been made.
The idea was exciting and the plan was really to get to know each other's ideas better, to create an environment that would encourage learning and literary collaboration and also to spend some time full of creation; to get away for a while from the reality of work and everyday life. And it really was. We based ourselves on these initiatives to achieve what was expected:
Space to reflect.
Generation of thought and comfort in ways of seeing life.
Writing of what we observed.
Conversation about the works.
Reading one of the works.
The most important thing was achieved, because this is a real “school”, so to speak; it was a laboratory of literary creation among friends, where we tried and tested everything; we simply went back over the writing and corrected the mistakes we had made.
We turned the space into an exchange where we resolved doubts and learned to “tame the ego”, which sometimes competes with us. We “polished” our literary potential and discussed our weaknesses. We once again traced a path towards confidence and progress. We are sure that these workshops will not turn us into writers; only we will achieve that, when we stop before the work and return what we have learned.
And inside another cozy space, we began to rotate the microphone to delight in some of the texts and fragments of the writings:
The skinny girl
maybe she's not that attractive,
but with her I can be myself,
without lies or protocols.
If you read me you will no longer be afraid of failing, you will be wary of not trying!
