CONTROL YOUR SIGHT

It is common knowledge that what your eyes don’t see, you cannot attract. It is first of all the engagement of the eyes, before it becomes a possession to either enjoy or endure. This is why the eye is regarded as the light of the body. What you fix your eyes on determines what gets affixed on your life. The fixtures on your life as a result of what you fix your eyes on, are often time in excess of your gaze.

If your gaze is positive, you will enjoy abundance. If your gaze is evil and negative, you will have your life flooded with all manner of evil amenities and you will have grief enough to endure. To you; it might have been a little gaze, but the devil in his imitation of spiritual patterns reverts back to you in evil measures, pressed down, shaken together and running over. When it begins at the level of what you allow into your eyes, it may seem like something you can easily handle, but when the enemy takes over from the level of his “amenities” you’ve allowed into your eyes, it becomes something beyond you and bondage results.

Friends! We are in a conflict and one way to remain a winner is to guard your heart with all diligence. There is so much about what you see with your eyes that becomes job for the heart to process. David’s trouble as King started when he “walked upon the roof of the king’s house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon” 2 Samuel 11:2. It was a “look” that resulted in a terrible harvest of grief. Evil eyes! Lust begins with the eyes and when conceived in the heart, it bringeth forth death.

So many ills result when you fall to exercise control over your eyes. When your spirit is alive unto God; it will work to silence the cravings of the flesh and the nothingness of the eyes, seeking to bring you into trouble with God and seeking to deliver you as a cheap prey to the enemy. There is the inner light of your human spirit that works to check what comes in through your eyes. When however you keep bombarding this inner light with the evil you release your eyes to keep seeing, it becomes too much for this inner light to handle. This light within will lose its glow and its ability to sustain you. True to Scriptures, the light in thee becomes darkness. Be careful what you see.
