There is nothing of God that the devil does not stand to contest. It doesn’t matter how well laid out you think it is; the devil will always seek to show up. He knows the Scriptures enough to know that whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world, but he is such a deviant that he ensures he shows up.
Did he expect Jesus to bow down to him in the wilderness encounter, after Jesus fasted for forty days and forty nights? He knew he was going to fail, but he sought to make an attempt all the same. Your adversary the devil is such a stubborn enemy; that, you just can’t afford to be too gentle dealing with him. You need the violence of faith to get on.
The measure you mete is the same measure with which it is meted back to you. Since devil has chosen to be stubborn and aggressive in going against your divinely appointed portion in life; you will need to master the act of stubborn spiritual aggression.
The Bible says in James 4:7, for you to resist the devil and he will flee from you. The devil does not hear the language of “I beg”. Jesus said – “In my name shall they cast out devils” (Mark 16:17). You are to cast them out, you are not to negotiate with them. Jesus entered the temple and laid hold on a whip and drove away the money changers and traders that hijacked the temple. That is the spirit!
You need a holy aggression, and a holy aggression entails an addiction to what it ought to be as stipulated by God’s Word. If the contrary shows up in your life, you will have to rise in violence of faith to institute the ordinance of God. Violence of
Faith stems from what you know so well about God and His allowances for your life. You know it so well and you cannot settle for anything less. Violence of faith is taking sides with the Word of God and prevailing by the Word. Violent faith is crazy faith, it is the faith that will not take a no for an answer. In a crazy world like ours, you need crazy faith to sail through.
