On a daily basis we live busy with our thoughts and ideas in which we deal or believe that we deal with the things of the Lord when in reality we live busy with our own ideas.
It happened that on his way, he entered a village; and a woman named Marta received him in her house. She 39 she This she had a sister named Mary, who, sitting at the feet of Jesus, heard her word. 40 But Marta was preoccupied with many chores, and approaching, she said: Sir, don't you care that my sister lets me serve alone? So tell her to help me. 41 Answering Jesus, she said to him: Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled with many things. 42 But only one thing is necessary; and Mary has chosen the good part of her, which she will not take from her.
Luke 10.38-42
For you, which of the two sisters do you identify with? Are we worried about everything that may happen before the Lord or do we simply sit down to contemplate him? In the picture seen in the previous text, Marta stopped listening to him and was more concerned with serving the Lord since for her this was the most important thing. Although both sisters expressed their love for Jesus and Mary has chosen the best way.
Throughout our lives with everything we do, we lose sight of the importance of listening to the Lord, of just seeking his presence. God does NOT want us to neglect our activities, our work, family, etc. It is very important that we dedicate the necessary time to God, that we pray and read the word of God, that we meditate.
On many occasions we are taught to put the Lord first, but even more so, that the Lord be a pillar in our lives, that he be the foundation of our family, work, partner, etc. Our thoughts are renewed daily through the word of God, that our actions are the result of our spiritual growth
Our nature is selfish and does not desire the things of God, but our new man seeks and cries out for God, the world encourages us to seek only to satisfy our desires to please ourselves, while in a relationship healthy with God can be much better when we take the attitude that Mary had, of being attentive to God.

Just last night I was scrambling all over Google searching “words of Jesus .pdf,” for some reason I just had a deep yearning to skip directly to his words only, I’m still desperate to just read all of them. So seeing this post this morning was special for me, and the content itself was also very relevant to me. ❤️🙏
@deflatedscotsman I feel very moved to read these words, this is the desire of my heart, that the word of God spread and be glorified filling the lives of people and giving hope. God keep blessing you!
